Is the eUK a Third World nation ?

I was going through the eUK statistics, and they aren't really good.
We have the 14th largest population in the world.
Yet we are 41st in average strength.
The 32nd GDP in the world.
The only thing that is good is we have a large number of compagnies. Even though the situation is getting better on the deflation front and I do have the impression that wages are going back up, there is still a lot to be done.
The new government is making some positive strides in the right direction.
I still think many things need to be done to push our nation towards economic power.
As the economy recovers we have to create a more stable and wealthier nation.
I am currently running for congress under the Social Democratic Party. This party is young and still needs structuring.
We have to create a wealthy middle-class and offer the chance for younger citizens to reach middle-class status.
To do so, we need to implement various policies to boost British industry and consumption.
The first of which would be to increase the minimum wage by 50% quickly, and an other 50% later if economic results are shown.
We also need to call upon the civic sense of our population. We need to increase VAT to fund social protection systems to help younger citizens achieve middle-class status.
Middle-class status is home-ownership, good wellness and enough money to buy your own weapons to defend the nation.
I want to experience COUNCIL HOUSING, I am trying to set up a smaller version of this strategy inside the Social Democrat Party. I am greatly looking fowards to find any help and support to bring this programme into reality.
I would also like to study market forces and create profitable compagnies in sectors that are neglected at the moment.
Building more houses will drive down prices and make it more affordable. I think that it is unacceptable that hard worker's are still homeless and struggle to prosper.

melophore, you need to be in a top 5 party to be shown on the list of candidates, running for congress or not.
Yes and ? It's going to be hard to get into the top 5 without a newspaper, a policy and some ideas...
That's all well and good, but you have 0% chance of getting into congress in a 7th placed party.
Even if the whole euk wanted to vote for you. The game mechanics wont allow it.

meh all i know is i came into a decimated country, i was poor then, im still poor now and its likely to not get any better.
hated having to go into the navy at first as i know i was just another small drain on resources, still am i suppose. its basically the ONLY choice you have when you can only earn £1 a day and you cant afford anything above q1 food.
If this guy cant get his ideas into congress then you could at least do the decent thing and steal them.

I know there is no chance to get into congress. I know it is hopeless, there is no point rubbing it in...
I know that there is no desired place for little parties.
I'm just saying that whoever has been running Congress has left the country in a poor state, things can't get worse.
Maybe some people might decide to join the party... And help us elaborate our council housing system.
I just exercise free speech and print my articles, hoping that someone will notice a good idea somewhere...
Friendly advice:
Britain is too much out of world happenings, like in RL, u are always playing alone...you should concentrate at foreign politics more.
