Is The Australian Media Dead?

Hello Readers,

Recently we have been experiencing....well nothing. Out of the top ten articles in Australia seven are by government figures, one is spam, one is an article for new players and one is about an award for the best article of the week. What best article? We haven't got any. Our media used to be full of people complaining and debating about the structure of the military, income taxes, which alliance we should be in and so on. For the last while I have seen none of this and I think if this is the best we are getting we need a better class of agitator. Not just for the sake of our media but for the sake of our democracy. I say this because without a decent amount of debating and complaining there is no accountability and or pressure on the government to perform. Without debate we will soon start to stagnate politically, militarily and to some extent economically. Without debate we will eventually start going backwards.

Why has this happened though, I'm sure there are many things for us to complain about. Like why do people in the military have to ask for weapons rather than the old system of receiving them straight away. This meant that during critical wars that started at 23:40 so as the enemy were unable to fight on the first day our soldiers were also unable to fight well because they were begging for weapons until day change. Anybody could see that this system doesn't work when it really needs to. Yet nobody has posted an article complaining about this. Why?

What about the fact that some people received Orders of Australia even though they had been sacked from cabinet just days before. I personally think they deserve the medals but I really doubt that 100% of the population did. I'm right, we had senators voting against their Orders of Australia for that very reason and yet not a single word of complaint elsewhere. Why?

What about the fact that we still have the Crimson Devils wandering around Australia trying to recruit our citizens to join their ranks. Shouldn't someone be unhappy enough about the fact that our soldiers are being poached by some foreign militia to write an article. Obviously not. Why?

I've written this article in the hope that it might encourage someone who is upset about something to write their article. We need it, you might get some negative comments but that is debate for you. So for the sake of our democracy could somebody please complain.
