Welcome to eRepublik an Welcome to eIreland. There are many good articles out there for new citizens. I was too lazy to go find one an plagiarise it. So i decided to write my own. Anyone who knows of other good guides feel free to post links in comment area.

Your first week or so are the hardest. you will run out of food, you will run out of guns, you will compare yourself to other players an realize just how small you are. But fear not i was once in the same shoes you are right now. This guide is for RealLife (RL) broke people like myself. So if you got plenty of plastic an like spending it please go buy some Gold from eRepublik, an then take it to the markets an buy my products an currency. But if your broke an want to compete with the big boys listen closely.....

Getting started
a. Choose a cool Avatar. Dont use you real picture, you will make enemies in this game eventually, an with all the government spying going on who knows they may run a face reconition on it an find ur ass.
b. Get a job you lazy bum. There will be offers up there go find one an show up everyday.
c. Join a Miltary outfit, all military outfits in eIreland are much better than anywhere else in the world.
d. Join a political party.
e. Ask the groups you join for their IRC channel an meet some People.

eRepublik is a volitile place prices rise an fall depending on special offers from the Admins. So my very first suggestion is to learn how to survive on your own. Just like in the real world when you go out on your own. you can't depend on someone else for your own survival.

Work your first 3 days for the highest salary you can find. This will allow you to earn enough money to survive for about a week. Then ask the military outfit you joined for a commune job. This will allow for you to fight with big guns on the battlefield increasing your Military rank

There is plenty to do in game and the obvious easy thing to do is go to the battlefield an fight, but as a new citizen you really cannot afford to go nuts on the battlefield all day long. Just like the real world money makes the eWorld go round too. So whether your interest in game are Economic, Political, or Miltary it all takes money to achieve these goals.

End goal for a new citizen to survive on his own is to make enough food so you can work an fight all day long on your own food, and to make enough weapons to shoot them all day long on your own weapons. That way if the global market crashes. you can pretend you live in the middle of nowhere working your garden an making weapons to protect your property.

I think you get a couple free RAW companies someone correct me or give me the accurate amount one starts game with. As you work for your companies you will make Raw materials. You take these to the Market an sell them. This will allow you to buy Food, which in turn will allow you to fight. but this is just barely surviving so as you level up you will receive Gold bonuses. Save these Bonuses to you get to 10 Gold. Then Buy a food factory an start producing your own food to eat.

Your first challenge after buying the Factory will be consuming more RAW then you make. Which forces you to go to market a buy RAW material which is good for economy but hard on your tight budget.

So as you earn more gold for leveling up and oh yeah i forgot to stress the importance of showing up for work EVERY DAY (5 Gold) bonus that you will recieve every 30 days is your most profitable bonus you will get from Game. Plus you get a really freaking awesomely cool trophy to show off. Then take that the gold bonus and buy the another Food Raw Material Company. What you want is to make a lil bit more RAW then you use.

Do the same thing for weapons as you did for food. There was no way i was typing all that crap to fit weapons.

Now you should be at a point where you make enough RAW to support your one Food Factory and one Weapon Factory. This will not allow you to fight all day yet, so you will continue buying RAW and Factories until you do produce enough own your own to fight all day long.

Now you are at a point that you need to make a decision. What is most important to you Economic, Political, Military. My suggestion is to start with Economic and then change careers at a later time.
