It occurs to me that eAmerica's borders are modestly defended; infrastructurely speaking. While I have the utmost confidence in eAmerica's citizen soldiers, I want to encourage eAmerica to fully embrace the government's building of Q5 Hospitals and Defense Systems. Building defensive systems in eAmerica is strategic planning for the future. Construction of these defensive systems increases the ability of eAmerica to act unilaterally and spurs eAmerica's economy.
There has been talk among those following international events and conflicts that eAmerica is potentially vulnerable to attack from a unified enemy. Regardless of how eAmerica conducts it self internationally, eAmerica needs the security that defense systems supply.
Cost of Q5 Defense Systems and Hospitals generates perhaps the most resistance to building more. eAmerican defense contractors have been contracted to build these Q5 defense systems at or near cost. This amounts to direct investment in eAmerica's economy by creating high paying jobs.
Strategically speaking fortifying crucial regions against invasion is paramount. Vast swaths of eAmerican territory could be fortified to repel and deter potential aggressors.
While I may not grasp the subtleties of Erepublik as masterfully as some of the movers/shakers of eAmerica I do believe that investment is a sound principle both online and off.

we have a plan, 1 Q5 Hospital/DS a month
Northwest? To defend against Canada? 😛
Why aren't you in the Federalist Party?

And 12 months of age, only to be at Level 9?..
Defending against Canada is kinda silly, as they are our allies. Other border states have a very low population (I'm looking at you, New Mexico) so it's hard to justify spending a ton of money for a high level DS when there are so few people there. As for a spending plan, Troy has it right, that is what we in the Infrastructure Committee are aiming for. We just bought a Q3 DS for Delaware, so we are getting things done.
It may seem absurd to worry about a Canadian invasion now, but look at the situation in another eAmerican ally: Norway. I have only the utmost respect for our Canadian brethren to the North and doubt they would ever attack us. A PTO though is what concerns me, eAmerica should be prepared for any situation!
@ Brasky I have not doubt that things are getting done, I'm merely vocalizing my support for these things and getting these things done...things
I'm glad you're back on the site and decided to join The Federalists!
Personally, I would love to see more infrastructure built throughout the midwest. We seem to have lined everything up along one coast and in Texas. I don't feel like we're really prepared or protected. Plus I hate that I only have 2 choices for residence if I want to keep my wellness up!!!
