Introducing Views From the Bruise...

Day 712, 02:55 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by BruiseCorp.org

Greetings, Dear Reader!

For the first (brief) edition of Views From the Bruise (VFTB) I simply want to outline what this paper is really all about and what will be featured. The newspaper is eUK-based, will be WEEKLY and will focus on :

1. Supporting and Encouraging Newb-ness!
I’m not an experienced eRepublik-er. I was only born a week ago so I won’t pretend to know a lot about economics, politics or military details. But.... I hope my newb-ness status will attract other similar experientally-challenged individuals as we try and wade through the information mire to get to what matters. I’ll be adding some useful resources and links for others to take advantage of. And sourcing useful guides other citizens have written for our benefit.

And promoting use of the forums. No point in whining about how naff e-things are if you’re not prepared to stand up and get involved. Start here --> http://forums.erepublik.co.uk !!!!

2. South-West!
I was born in the South-West and want to promote our regions activities. We’re not just there for the Q5 Hospital, you know. I will be presenting and promoting some of the activities and events of the South-West Regional Council in an attempt to make this region a top-performer in the eUK.

3. Politics!
Should a paper be apolitical?! Nah!

VFTB believes in the free market economy, the family and community. You work hard, you get rewarded. For that reason, this paper’s political affiliations are with the United Kingdom Reform Party - the “common sense” Party. Come visit us at http://tinyurl.com/ukrp-party to find out more.

That’s not to say VFTB will ignore other parties. Far from it. Sensible policies that benefit the eUK will be praised. Daft ones ridiculed. Freedom of the Press, right?!

We look forward to presenting you with Edition 1 very soon. Thank you for reading!

REMEMBER: 5/11/09 Country President Elections - VFTB supports AltmerVampire.
