Introducing The New Council and My First Competition
Squiddy
It's me again, back with more "change" for the better.
The Council has now been fully re-structured as follows:
Mayor of London: Squiddy
Lord Councillor of London: Stan Wephen
Councillors of London: N/A
See the problem there? Yeah, that big N/A is the problem. So without further ado, I shall introduce my first competition for London.
London Councillor Competition
What do I have to do?
All you have to do, is get in contact with me, Squiddy, and tell me that you want to sign up for Councillor of London. This can be done either in-game via PM, or through the UK Forums, (www.erepublik.co.uk), via the Regional Forums or PM.
You should give us the following information, for example purposes only:
eRepublik Name: Squiddy
Profile Link: http://www.erepublik.com/profile-853311.html
Activity Level: Every day, at least a few hours.
Why you'd make a good Councillor: Are you experienced, enthusiastic, just want to get involved? No character limit.
What Happens Next?
On the 26th of September, me and Stan Wephen will go through the list of potential candidates, discuss each and every one of them and select the best 2 candidates in the list. Shortly after, those two candidates will be contacted to inform them that they have been chosen.
Where's the prize... this is a competition right?
The prize for being selected as one of the two candidates will be the sum of the cost of a Q1 House, (approximately 71GBP)
Rules
The money will only be given to the candidate after an undisclosed amount of time, when I think that the person has done a good job as Cuncillor they will receive their prize.
You must live in London to be qualify for participation in the competition.
No multi's, no bribes, no liars, no time wasters.
By entering the competition you agree to adhere to all rules within this article.
If a chosen Councillor defaults on their agreement to any of the above, the competition will be re-activated for the search of a new member.
Closing Statement
So there you have it, a free house for getting involved in the running of your country. What more could be asked for? I don't even have a house!
Also, whilst there are only 2 positions being advertised through the competition there are a total of 4 places available on the Council. Please feel free to get in contact with me for any reason, for instance if you want to know what it's like to be a Councillor or advice for your entry.
Cheers,
Squiddy - Mayor of London.
