Introducing the Israeli Progressive Party

I would like to introduce to you all, the newest, and only Central left eIsraeli party in our entire nation. You are all encouraged to join, and questions about the party will all be answered. The party will be started within the next 3 days.

Now for our platform:

Taxes It is the Progressive Party's belief that in order for our nation's infrastructure to grow, it is vital that income taxes on some jobs be raised. Our party opposes VAT tax hikes though, in order to balance with any raised income taxes. With the revenue our nation would gain, we could be able to help make eIsrael better prepared for the future, such as being able to provide weapons during wars to our IDF.

IDF The IDF needs to be beefed up. Our party supports running government-paid ads to increase recruitment to the IDF. The IDF is the only thing that keeps us from being a puppet state. We need to be aware of that.

PEACE vs FORTIS/EDEN This party is a supporter of FORTIS/EDEN in the war against PEACE, but any ex-PEACE israeli's are more than then welcome in our nation, and our party.

Before anyone posts any comments like "Another party will only hurt our nation.", another party will only hurt our nation if you are against working together

Agreed, Charles you would best save your 40 gold for something useful such as a company or two, or a well-funded organization. If you want a centre-left party I hear the IWP would be giddy to have even *more* takers.

Well new parties are always good, but im not sure we need so many in such a small country.

I disagree on the usefulness of higher taxes. With such a small population, our income from taxes are truly negligible. The meat of our revenue comes from government-owned companies, not taxes.

Most of our taxes are in the form of NIS, which the government must convert into gold on the monetary market. This is a long and tedious process making the slight increase in revenues even less relevant.
