Canada's next major party; The CanVision Party of Canada!

Ahoyhoy everyone, for the past few weeks my Vice President, Andrew McKenzie Cain, and I have been working to jump start the newly founded CanVision Party.

How may have this party started you ask?

Well, let me just put on my reading glasses and I'll read my diary entries on the formation of the CVP.

I've been on eRepublik for over two years now and ever since I began in July 2009, I had always known I would want to try my hand at starting my own party. Since I have came back from my leave a month ago I joined the now former Canadian Empire Party and decided to run for Party President of the 2 person party. I won, and I realised it would be the perfect opportunity to invest some time into creating the CVP. Soon enough I was contacted by Mr. Cain here and with his invaluable skills he has helped me develop the logo and brand of the CanVision Party. He has started to write his own recruitment articles to gather interest and now it's time to bring in the CVP as a major player in this Country.



Yes, yes, this is all new and fun but what does this party really stand for? What does it offer Canada? What does it offer you?

We stand for national unity in times of turmoil and will always support compromise. We are the middle ground to ensure that Canada is balanced economically, politically and socially. Over the long term the CVP looks to keep import taxes low enough to keep competition healthy and stable prices. We also support an increase in Canada's military presence by encouraging new players to join existing Military Units, such as The Crimson Order, the Canadian Armed Forces and HOPE and to continuously maintain the growth of new Military Units.

We hope that the CanVision Party of Canada will become a congressional contender soon. When we are, our major goals do not include getting the largest number of Congress Members, rather our goals are to train and create efficient, strong, influential, intelligent and active congress members. We believe in quality over quantity. Without a quality caucus, we will not be able to push our position on major issues. If you also want a hand in helping us do this, I suggest you join.



As a member what kind of benefits will you receive?

Right now, the CVP is still new and we're still trying to get functions underway as our membership slowly grows. We have many goals for this party and many endeavours to take on for the next few months. One of the projects we're currently working on is our own Military Unit for the Party Members. Along with the Military Unit we're offering members more advantages. CanVision will create many companies for anyone in the party who will want to work for a reduced price and in return receive goods such as food or weapons for their own use. The other portion of goods produced from their work will go towards a player reserve.

Now what is this reserve? At CanVision we always believe in the progression of new players. Whether you are a member of the party or currently not part of a party new players will be eligible for relief help while starting out. Those who cannot currently afford to fight will have the opportunity to be sent small packages of food and weapons. We want to encourage members to join our future Military Unit to help increase their experience and their fighting output, which eventually will increase Canada's overall strength.

Above all else, the CVP offers more to members. We want to create a tight community of players committed to excellence and improving the nation. We want to create an area for activity on our forums and the IRC (Find us at #CanVisison !) and to develop trust and strong solidarity in the party.

In the future the CVP has many goals to achieve. Some things we are trying to work on is garner up to 40 members in the next month. By then we will set another goal for us to enter the Top 5. In the coming months we want our Military Unit to be fully functional by offering newer players full fighting packages and help train them before they are able to join one of the larger fighting forces, such as TCO, HOPE or the CAF. In terms of our companies we hope to have at least anywhere from 10 to 20 members working at a reduced price to help build our reserve.
