After reading Zordacz’s interview , I wanted to have one with my friend I-G-D. But his investigation was ongoing so I decided to wait. Recently he said he got an answer from admins, so here we go.


Hello my friend. Thank you for accepting the interview. Your account was banned on the same day as Zordacz. He had an interview and published it but we never heard the story by your side. Do you know why your account was banned?

According to admins, the account was banned because of using a third party tool. I think they referred to the empty battle hunting script which I used for 24h.



So you are banned for the same reason as Zordacz. Do you believe the ban is just?

I know that using scripts is against the erepublik rules. So yes, the ban is just. On the other hand, admins enforcing rules as they please is not just. I believe there are only a few people who don't use any scripts. Also the whole community saw how zordacz used the auto hunting script for a year. I saw a post that he even got reported for using that script in january. Nothing happened. So honestly I thought admins don’t care about this script and I decided to use it when I saw too many empty battles with the new event.



So what does this script actually do?

It is a simple private script. It scans all existing battles and divisions close to end. If It finds any empty bh or bh with 1-2 kills damage, it puts 2-3 hits and claims the bh.



How similar is this script with Zordacz’s script?

The scripts are programmed to have the same purpose. Everyone knows stuff++ (zordacz’s script). He never hid his code. Everyone with a little coding knowledge could see it there and make something similar work.



So did you modify zordacz’s script?

Actually no. This script was programmed from scratch by my friend and it didn’t function 100% same as Zordacz script. For example, it didn’t contain the auto captcha solver so I had to manually solve captchas to make the hunting function.



Did admins warn you not to use this script anyhow?

Seriously I don’t think they care and they don’t spend time policing. When the community reacts to something in friend feed, they show their ban hammer as hard as they can to please certain people. When I got banned, I saw posts about me using this script. People already got used to Zordacz using it but I was new. So I got banned temporarily.



Zordacz was banned together with you.

Well yes. It seems like Zordacz is my victim. It is very hard to get an explanation from admins and to actually understand what they want. I didn’t get any answer from admins more than a copy paste from terms of service.



Can we say that the temporary ban was a warning to make you stop using this script?

Honestly I thought so. The temporary ban was for 7 days. But after 6 days, it turned into a permanent ban.



What was the reason for it to turn into permanent?

I have no idea.



Did you appeal to this decision?

Yes I did. I waited 1 month long for an answer to the appeal. But finally the answer was the same copy paste thingy from terms of service.



One month sounds like a lot of time to reply to an appeal. Do you think admins stalled you for some reason? Or this one month was required to make more investigation?

I think they stalled on purpose. Making investigation is easy because I have never used a hunting script before. They have all the data they need.



What was the purpose of stalling you?

I can only guess. I have no solid info. Since It is never easy to reach/talk to the admins, I think I will never know the reason.

Well for the ban story, I think all is said. As for my friends, I'm still in contact with many of them. Even though erepublik was our common point we shared in passion, it’s time to move on. For the ones that I lost contact with, I'm sorry. It wasn't my choice 🙁
