Interview with Venja, President of e-Australia

Petrelaias13 : Introduce yourself, who you are, what you are doing, how old you are, etc.
venja: My real name is Peter and I am 46. I work as a Commercial Analyst doing contract work.

Petrelaias13 : What are your hobbies except eRep?
venja: I enjoy boating and overseas travel. I have travelled to Asia a few times and to Europe once. I would love to go back to Europe and also visit the Americas.

Petrelaias13 :
How long are you playing eRepublik and how did you found it?
venja: Been playing eRep for over 2 years, found it as a advert link on another game. 2 clicked at first but gradually got into the community aspect.

Petrelaias13 : How much time do you spend in the current time in front of eRep?
venja: As CP I probably spend about 6 hours a day (too much). When not CP I would prefer to spend more like 2 hours/day.

Petrelaias13 : Congratulations for your victory at presidencial elections today. You were President last month too, what did you make in that time, and which are your plans about this month?
venja: Last month I was kept busy fighting off the Indonesian invasion. Maybe this month will be similar. The good news is the intense fighting is making us grow in strength 🙂

Petrelaias13 : How many active players are in eAustralia?
venja: We have 229 voting for CP and maybe 400 who work most days and are at least 2 clicking. The active community using forums and irc daily is only about 50

Petrelaias13 : What should be done in eAustralia to have a baby boom?
venja: We have tried BB a few times but it doesn’t seem to work very well in eAustralia.

Petrelaias13: Tell me how game looks in Australia? You are having difficult times because of eIndonesia's occupation.Months ago you had problem with PTO, did you fully regain political parties back?
venja: After PTO all parties were stranded in eIndonesia due to rule changes, so those that were wanted had to be recreated. Despite the oppression we fight on. We were wiped again in April and probably not for the last time. We will keep bouncing back.

Petrelaias13: What do you think about EDEN? Are you satisfied from the help of the brotherhood?
venja: We could always use more help but we appreciate all the help we get. EDEN has had a difficult time in the past 2 months with quite a few members being wiped and some being wiped twice. In return we give back as much help as we can, although when we are under constant bombardment there is not a lot we can do. We do however have a strong representation in EMC.

Petrelaias13: Which battle was epic and you remember the most?
venja: We have had a number of epic battles recently against eIndonesia and eNew Zealand. The recent battle for Queensland will be memorable because it was our last region and we were facing a wipe again. We were down 0-5 minibattles when we started to make a comeback with strong support from allies and friends. In the end we won 8-5 and regained initiative.

Petrelaias13: How do you see eAustralian's future?
venja: Its so hard to plan far ahead. As a smaller country we rely on others to work with us on joint defence. Game rules don’t help small countries so somehow we need to find strong allies and better ways of being able to help other when in need.

About e-Greece

Petrelaias13: How does eGreece looks in Australian's eyes - specially Yours? Do you think there is space for more cooperation?
venja:eGreece have been a strong ally for eAustralia for a very long time. We have fought in many of the battles alongside Greeks and they have helped us as well many times. We have had a few Greeks come and live in our community which also helps to build a strong relationship.

Petrelaias13: Which of greek players do you recognise?
venja:K0llht0s is most recognisable in eAustralia as he lived amongst us for many month, helped a lot during the PTO period and is still fairly active in our forum although he is back in Greece. A good friend and a real ambassador for Greece.

Petrelaias13:Our nations in the past fought together in the filed of battle many times. Can you see any ways of more cooperation between eGreece and eAustralia?.
venja: I would like to see closer ties between our military leaders. Friends in game that communicate regularly can help each other more quickly and more effectively

Petrelaias13 : Would You like to say something to Greek players?
venja: Thanks to all Greeks that have helped us in the past and continue to do so - we love you all so much.

I'm wishing you luck in your game in future. Thanks for interview.
