Interview with the eUk's CP--- Iain Keers edition I

Day 1,699, 14:33 Published in Switzerland USA by David North

franckP97: What would you like to be called, President or Prime Minister?

Iain Keers: Honestly, I don’t care 😛 In game we are Presidents, so that’s what I tend to call myself.

franckP97: So to begin with, what did you think of the Wimbledon, with Federer (SUI) playing Murray (GBR)?

Iain Keers: Well I don’t really follow Tennis. A lot of people were cheering Murray but he is a hard guy to cheer. In my opinion he’s boring and it’s irritating how he is always swearing, waving his racket, getting angry, crying etc. It’s not a very British attitude 😛

franckP97: Now let's get more serious. Most of us by now have notice that your nation is being invaded by France. What do you think is the cause?

Iain Keers: Well our last CP invaded them, so really they’re just fighting back, which I can’t blame them for. However there is also the fact that with only 2 regions France needs resources and we are the easiest target.

franckP97: Switzerland is also under attack/controlled by Croatia. Are we expected to receive some support from your powerful nation?

Iain Keers: Haha, we are hardly powerful. We are a middle-power in eRepublik. Our strength doesn’t really extend beyond our borders except during MPP. The only realistic way to beat a country like Croatia is with another mighty nation like Poland or Serbia.

Iain Keers: franckP97: In the past, the UK and Switzerland had been allies, would that be possible again?

Iain Keers: Being honest, the UK has a very small sphere of influence. Outside of ONE we don’t have much influence over small countries, so we tend to just follow ONE orders on things like that. If you want the support of the UK, it is ONE HQ you need to convince.

franckP97: What was the main reason to attack Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada?

Iain Keers: The main reason was to push the Canadians out of the war. After the battle reached Canadian shores, France took Wales, cutting off the border with Canada. This reduced the amount of fronts the UK faced. Realistically, both France and Canada are stronger than the UK, as is Germany for that matter. Our goal has to be to limit the impact of those nations as quickly as possible by neutralising damage. This was my motivation.
