How did you find erepublik?
I made a deal with the devil, and eRep was the price I paid. Hehe. I originally found eRep through a friend that I used to play Cybernations with.

Why did you choose the username Synesi?
Synesi is an alias I have been using for a couple years now, I'm told that it is a Greek term that has to do with the application of wisdom...I think. It sounded cool, so I kept using it.

Synesi was the term used in Ancient Greece to describe the ability to apply knowledge and wisdom, to select the right objectives as well as the best means for attaining them.

Why did you continue to play erep?
The Training Corps is hands down the reason that I have kept on playing. I started as a wee platoon XO, and now I am XO of the corps itself. From day 1, TC kept my attention and gave me a purpose in this game.

When did you join TC?
June of 2010.

Why did you join TC?
I originally joined TC because I didn't know enough to do economics or politics. When i saw an ad for TC, I figured I had nothing to lose.

Who did you first look up to in TC in your "noob" days?
That would have to be my first platoon CO, AdmiralQuasar. He went above and beyond to help me out, and to this day he is one of my best friends in eRep.

When the split between JCS and the Government happened, what were your thoughts on it?
At that time, I didn't have the luxury to see what was occurring behind the scenes. All I saw was that there was hostility on both sides and that a change had to happen, so I was a supporter of the split when it occurred.

Do you feel the situation between the Government and the JCS militia is better or worse?
The hostility seems to have died down for the most part. There are always going to be flareups, but things are a lot better than they were.

As one of the newest JCS members how do you think you can help the JCS militia?
Well, there are a lot of women in the JCS, so as a man, I do things like raising the toilet seat and put empty cartons of milk back in the fridge. I think my presences helps them overcome diversity

For anyone looking for a good MU, what makes TC/JCS militia different then the other militias?
We are one of the oldest groups in the game, and as such, we have a unique community that continually welcomes new members to our ranks. Even those who go off to join other groups still stop by to hang out and have a good time. We have everything a player needs, food, weapons, and friends. What else could you ask for?

Hookers?
Only on Friday nights.
I wish I had stayed in TC. ಥ_ಥ

How does TC help a new player learn about eRepublik?
TC creates an atmosphere that rewards activity and encourages collaboration between the officers and the trainees. We make sure that there is always someone to help the new guys as they are starting out. This game can be intimidating at first, but the officers of the Training Corps work hard to provide whatever assistance a new player needs.

How politically active would you say you are?
I'm a member of the AMP. My forum activity there is pretty low, but I am pretty active in the #AMP IRC channel. I prefer IRC to forums every time. Starting with Oblige's first term as POTUS, I took a job in the US State department, which has been very enjoyable so far because it has allowed me to meet some very cool people.

What do you think of the NCP?
I'm sure that there are many good people in the NCP. However, as long as Pthut continues to delude them, the NCP will remain a problem.

What do you think of the AMP has a whole and of its members/leaders?
I have always supported the idea of a military party and I am glad that the AMP has become so successful. It provides a friendly atmosphere for new guys to get involved politically and has a leadership that genuinly cares for its members.

What do you think of the other top five parties?
For the most part, my knowledge of the those parties is mostly limited to the USWP. AMP and USWP have always competed against each other. The competition has been pretty intense at times, but competition is a good thing. It gets people fired up and excited about the party. I give the USWP props though for being so successful for such a long time, that takes alot of effort.

What do you think of Oblige's previous presidency?
I think he did a great job on his first term, and I am excited to see what will happen in this 2nd one.I have been a fan of Oblige for awhile now. He was very friendly to the JCS led military and has always been a very approachable person. He looks to unite instead of divide, which is something I respect.

What advice do you have for new players?
Don't allow yourselves to be pressed into a mold that you aren't ready for, this is a game that allows you to express yourself. Find a group that makes you comfortable and then just have a good time. There are so many opportunies and things to do in this game, make a goal and pursue it.
