Today's Edition of WHPR is developed completely from an interview with Secretary of War Cromstar.
RW Central Taiwan: Fight For Taiwan!
The short of it is-- Fight for Taiwan, we're returning it in accordance with a recent NAP (Non-Aggression Pact).

The whole story: Remember Operation Gangnam Style? Oh, we went in and kicked some Taiwan ass-- made 'em sit up and pay attention, put 'em in a position to end the resource draining war on our terms.
"The war was a drag Taiwan didn't want. It gave them a good reason to come to the negotiating table."
Our terms? Free Japan-- all of it. Restore some of South Korea, and pay rent on the rest.
As always, war is easy because it's about pushing ahead and winning, and Americans are pretty good at that. Backing out of an area is never so easy, because American fighters just don't give shit back easily. But that's exactly what we agreed to do, and we're doing it.
RW Central Taiwan back to Taiwan. We accomplished our goals over there, now it's time to honor our word.
Gold Mines Across the Globe
The Admins' contest for Top Damage to win a Gold Mine ends Monday, then 24 hours later one Mine will be awarded on each of five continents. Just as a point of prestige, the USA is running a hot third behind Serbia and Poland, a clear demonstration that we are truly a world power to be reckoned with.
It can be relatively accurately predicted who's gonna get some of the Mines, while others are expected to be a real barn burner to the finish. Let's lay out some potential scenarios, and we'll see come this Tuesday morning how close we guessed.
~ Chile occupies both RL capitals in Oceania, and is expected to win that Mine either way.
~ Africa's two capitals are currently under occupation. Brazil will likely take the South African Mine, while Greece and Bulgaria will fight hard to the end to take the one in Egypt.
~ for the Asia Mine, Turkey has overtaken China, but that's not a done thing, either.
~ Serbia will take the Euro Mine, no doubt.
~ USA will take the Americas Mine, no doubt.
But then what? Americans are concerned about Poland.. they don't win one, so they'll be highly motivated to take one away from its winner.
Poland vs Serbia? Not happenin'.
Poland does have The Bomb. They could hit Chile, but that would bring the full force of the CoT alliance down on them.
Poland vs either Bulgaria (CoT) or Greece (EDEN) at Egypt? High risk long march, doubt they'd keep it.
How 'bout Poland vs either Turkey or China? Turkey's been wiped before, they could get wiped again.. but China? Poland is not gonna poke the big Red Panda-- not happenin'.
Poland borders us-- Jersey, Delaware and Maryland-- so they're just a "double dog dare ya" away from our capital city. Think America will just kick back and watch Poland advance through like that? Americans won't tolerate them attacking our mainland-- especially if it means taking the prize gold right out of our pockets.
"Attacking us would commit them to war pretty much full time. Lots of RWs, attacks from other nations, I suspect."
So does all this mean that if Poland can't beat Serbia in points to win one then they're just shit outta luck and will accept that? Seriously doubt it-- don't you?
But exactly what Poland will do, which way they're gonna jump come Tuesday.. it's a crap shoot. 50-50 odds they'll come for our Gold Mine.
"Honestly, I have to give Admins credit. This Gold Mine thing is almost guaranteed to shake up the whole world."

We will Fight Back We love Gold,There is nothing to stop us.
Why would anyone try to conquer eUSA gm? Is way to risky, Poland may go for Australia
They (Poland) don't need to conquer all of eUSA, just the capital. They could invade and take 3 regions and they have the gold mine, or they could airstrike into DC. There doesn't need to be a path back to ePoland, just possession. I'm sure ePoland with eSerbia's help could take & hold DC. The eUSA doesn't have the strength nor the allies: Russia - we saw how well they fared; CoT - we're not full members and too many countries have ties to ePoland & eSerbia; eBrazil - I'm not sure we can count on them. The question is the damage drain worth the 100,000 gold (especially with gold under $250).
Still, Chile should be more concerned. AUS or NZ would be much easier for Poland to hold. (ie: less damage drain).
eUSA is not worth it, way too expensive
And I just noticed that Poland is airstriking Turkey. I assume that means they will will up Turkey's damage count, allowing Turkey to get a goldmine, and then taking it from them.

Any way the go someone or some alliance will knock the shit outta them for trying. I'm betting Serbs will 🍿 if they go up against CoT. Serbs might help if they come after the US but I doubt it.
