Interview with Morrigan Alexandros

Day 1,484, 20:26 Published in USA USA by TDavis3000

Recently, I caught up with Latin sensation Morrigan Alexandros and interviewed her after several drunks of high-grade Tequila. Seriously, I didn’t even recognize the labels. I think one of them said Sauza... I'm just kidding, that stuff is god-awful. No one actually drinks that besides teenagers who don't know any better. But I digress....

TDavis3000: You've been in Congress. You've been the leader of the coolest branch. You transferred to the Army. What do you plan to do now? What aspects of eRepublik still hold your interest and occupy your time?

Morrigan Alexandros: We will see. I have been approached with other opportunities that I am considering. In the meantime, I have been helping out in the Training Corps with the MU and fulfilling supplies.

TDavis3000: Now that you're retired from the TC, I wonder if you'd share your best-kept recruiting secret to keeping trainees active and involved? Those folk who are PCO's and PXO's undoubtedly would like to know!

Morrigan Alexandros: Join the Training Corps. It is honestly the best retention toll in this game to this day. It keeps people active and interested. There is a reason for the tests, the roll call, etc. It is not to make it more difficult to join, it is too weed out the non-participants and keep the active players active and coming back.

TDavis3000: You recently authored an article about the new citizen message sent out to players. A number of older players jumped in and started mudslinging. The hostility over the military split is clearly still alive and well. Is there any solution or truce in our future?

Morrigan Alexandros: I wrote the article because I wanted that 'warning' about the eUSMil and TC out of the NCM. The warning was a disservice to the eUS and blatant disrespect to all the military members that fought day in and day out for days, months and years.

That warning is now out and I am very happy about that. By removing such institutionalized bias in the minds of new players, we will move a little bit forward. That message only served to further the rift. Now it is gone and we can tackle the next issue in the rift. It is a slow process and the only way to move forward is to let time pass.

We can also lock everyone involved in a room, lock the door for a week and see what happens. Also, no more Pfeiffer. That would go a long way.

When we start putting people first, instead of egos, we will start moving forward and resolving the issue.

TDavis3000: This question is your chance to brag about a major obstacle you successfully overcame in your eRepublik career. What was it, and how did you succeed?

Morrigan Alexandros: One of the biggest hurdles was keeping the Training Corps alive, active, supplied and competitive when we refused Congress funding. Since it is still alive...I guess I succeeded. 😃

TDavis3000: If you've had a long day at work which threatens to crush your soul, what is your go-to comfort meal when you get home?

Morrigan Alexandros: Cookies, cake and wine.

Thanks for tuning in! Remember, gentlemen: all eUS Military branches are co-ed! I’m just saying....
