Interview With Mich3lAngel0

Day 3,022, 01:51 Published in Iran Montenegro by King Arthas

Hello everyone and welcome to this week's "Weekly Insider" This is the second Interview that we Publish and we are planning to do weekly interview with political, military and well known player of The New world, Erepublik.
We are doing this so new comers will have some references to know these iconic Accounts/players and it will encourage them to keep on playing so some day they can be like them, a powerful citizen. at the other hand it will help players to get to know each others better.

Today i am hosting Mich3lAngel0, the Country President Of Cyprus.
to introduce him, i need to say he was a warm welcoming guy, he answered my questions patiently and it took almost 4 days, around 15-20 in game letter to make it done and he was co-operating from first word to the last.
his friends describe him "funny but really serious when its needed" and " it is good and fun to work with him." " he is a patriot and he cares about others"
Hopefully you will like this article and it will help you to know this guy better or maybe see him from a different angle.
lets make it short and start the interview.

* Hello Mich3lAngel0!
First of all i need to tell you that all questions here are about the game, So "here","the game", etc... all are referring the Erepublik aka erep.
all talks are in general and we are not talking about anyone but Mich3lAngel0.
please introduce yourself to our readers
name, age, Nationality, Job, hobbies, etc and tell us when and how did you start playing Ere?

- Hello everyone!
My name is Michael. I am 24 years old and i work as an insurance consultant. I am greek in real life , but I am more than 2.5 years in eCyprus.
I started the game 4.5 years ago , when i saw a post on a famous blog. So , i was really curious what this "erepublik" could be and this is how my e-life begins

* At the very first days of playing ere, which aspect of the game was most fun and entertaining to you that kept you playing?
- On the very first days , i invested on the financial module of the game. I invested a fair amount of money so as to built some companies and become an in depended fighter with a normal productivity of food and weaps.

* Does the game still fresh and fun and "alive " to you? does the changes during these years made the game better Or weakened it?
-Unfortunately this game becomes more and more boring to the most fighters . Many changes of the admins have dissapointed the players (included me ) . The financial module , the unfair difference of players concerning the strength (this is referred to smaller divisions mainly) , the higher requirement of dmg so as a battle to become epic and many many more.... Even if tournaments take place once every 2-3 months , this is not enough. So the changes have weakened the game

* Have you ever been banned? if is that so, you were guilty or you were not? 😃
-No , i haven't but i could have been banned , because i have several times got FP.You see , sometimes i am kinda ... temperamental xD

* If today was the first day of your ere life, would you still playing it ?( considering the difference between today's game and the game back to the day that you started ere)
- Probably not, because i would have been with 20str and i would have to compete 90k str players , so i would simply quit.

* How do you see the future of this e-World?
- Chaotic...!!!

* Any suggestion for plato in order to make the game better?
- Fix divisions according to their max hit (proposal of HisAirness , if i am not mistaken that was made on erep forum). I totally support this opinion.
Also , stop Combat Order options . CO has made people greedy enough so as they even betray their friends.
Of course , i am not an admin. They have to find the "secret formula" 😛

* Thinking of the first days of your ere life, who was your idol?
- There are many strong tanks which i admired .Exohoritis , kthniatros are some of them.
But i will point out Rauf raif Denktas . I was really curious about this guy. He had really bad name from many citizens , in Greece mainly. But after meeting him in rl my opinion totally changed. From this moment i understood it ingame that you must always check things before you judge.

* Can you name the players that helped you the most? is there anyone that you think you owe him for his deeds?
- Marcelbe aka TsoglaN. He made me understand that this game is much more than pixels , that by this game you can make real life friends

* Tell us your best memory Of erepublik, or the best thing that ever happened to you here
- My best memory ...? Definately when i joined the eCypriot community. I felt that i have a family , not just some co-Citizens or just some fighters. This is the eCypriot family. Because we keep playing for the family. Fortunately or unfortunately most of the countries of the game haven't get this point and that's why they do not evolute.

* About wars, which one was the most notable or memorable? have you been part of it?
- Many many epic battles .Battle of GR-FYROM in Macedonia on the day 2085 ,battle of Chile-Argentina in Amazonica , USA's AS on fyrom , Battles of Cyprus vs Serbia vs Canada vs Hungary. The battle of Cyprus against FYROM was the most exciting i think. Fyrom was much more stronger that it is and had under occupation Italy,Albania and Greece. Everyone was expecting that Cyprus would be Fyrom's next target. But we did something that not many people would expect. We NEd them and we didn't just made them lose a battle , Cyprus conquered lands till Albania. There were many battles that were epic and will be never forgotten . I am really glad that i was there.

* The day you started ere, what was your goal, did you fulfill it? what is your goal today? what is it that you want the most now?
- I started from an ad to check how things are here (as i told you at the beggining of the interview) and i finally made something that i wasn't expecting at all. Not just to play a game but also to meet new people. I thought that this game had only people "stucked on pixels". So i think i have fullfilled my goals , but i still continue. Probably this game became addiction , it is part of my daily routine 😛

* Which country did you find the best? why?
- Mongolia , definately. It reminds me my ancestors from the village.

* Talking in general, are our political and military decisions rational or immature? ( i mean did our politicians or military commanders grew up with the game and became more logical or they are yet immature? )
-Most of decisions are rational , and this is the key of an eNapoleon . If you are a realist , if you explain detailed your plan and you got the guts to finalize your plan.

* In comparison with real world, which country's erepublik version is better than its real version?
- none.

* In general, do you think e-World is better than real world?
- eWorld is an image of rl world , there are no big differences.

* You said E-world is merely a mirror of our real world. i must ask 1- is it true if we say " some corrupted governments in eworld are the result of "bad political Or social education to citizens by real world government?" for example,If e-Afghanistan's citizen ( saying Afghanistan so it wont offend anyone) are greedy or offensive or i don't know somehow bad or in reverse, if e-Afghanistan's citizens are Good, its because it is like this in their real world?
2- How can it be true, if i act bad here, but i am good irl? i mean how do u explain it

- 1)I don't think that all people in general are greedy. But some of them , when they finally take part in a gov and find millions of cc on their bank's treasury , they are in temptation to gobble part of the money or not. Same thing applies in real life politics , there many examples of governmental corruption but also there are examples of governments that didn't fell in this trap. Ethics still exist.

2)Depends on what you mean by acting bad. You must know the background before you criticize someone . When you hear both sides , you finally conclude to the truth , which is (in the most occasions) somewhere in the middle.

* About question one my point is if our acts here are reflecting our real world's countries politicians behavior. Example:Afghanistan e-government is acting peaceful Or aggressive in e-world because it is the way that their IRL politicians are acting.
2.I totally agree with you there.Do you think this game has achieved the goal to mimicking our world's mechanism?

- 1)No , not in all cases.
2)In a way , yes . The game module is a reflection of our society. You work,produce,fight , run for congress. But there is always marge of improvement for this game but it won't be 100% as rl is

* Talking about rl, this game has some mechanics that makes it abit unfair,but same as rl.like money wins.more money more power.
Do u think it is what game's owner want or it just happened to be this way(cause admin's want to make money and it's the consequences?

- There is a "circle of money" ingame that admins want , that's why they don't change things. You buy packs for yourself , you buy packs for other people in order to gather cc so as to set co,convert these money into golds or whatever.

* Whats your opinion about e-Iran?
- Well , Iran has got some honorable fighters but also some people that got the spirit of the game in a bad way. You know , about the multiple accounts.These people made bad fame to your state. But personally and as a state , we respect every eNation of the eWorld . It doesn't matter if we are allies or not , because there are many examples of being enemies in erepublik and friends in real life.

* Does the game affect your perspective of administration of a country/nation? does the game affect your view and thoughts about other countries/nations?
- There are states that i don't like in erep but i like them in real life. But the opposite doesn't exist . Some people improve their hatred with nationalist beliefs , i think this is more than tragic.

* Does e-power result in corruption? i mean does it ever happen to you that having power in erepublik changed a player personality in bad ways?
- This depends on the state . If the state is big and has extreme high daily income taxes , then gov may "put their hands on the jar with the honey" . As i told you before , this game is image of real life. There are good people that really want to help their states and there are also people that want to take advantage of state's money.

* Do you think this game affected your life positively ?
- Definately , even if my wallet doesn't agree xD

* Today, what is the most important crisis in e-world?
- Economic module crisis. Divisions module crisis. Each single day people quit from the game....Sorry , there is not more than one crisis in this game xD

* Best 5 players of new world?
- Trico,Mithrantir,Flausinio,Megalexandros and many many more from the past till today...

* Best politician?
- Dont answer this, its a trap

* Best warrior?
- Trico,Mithrantir

* Best strategist?
- Unfair question

* Best ally?
- All the allies of my state , each one of them is special.

* Best decision u have ever made in this game?
- Becoming member of eCyprus. The game changed totally for me and it was not just fighting and producing. I became member of a community which included all the stuff to have fun. Of course the number 1 is sincerity and self sarcasm

* For The last question, 1 year from now, where and how do you see yourself? would u be playing still?
- In a year i would be an e-grandpa i guess 😛 xD
Probably i would play , i don't know if i will be that active , this depends on real life things.

* OK, i will say some words, Just say the first thing that crosses your mind
* Autumn
- rain

* Love
- anan

* Cyprus
- family

* Home
- fine-way's hug xD

* Friendship
- above everything

* Honesty
- priority
