Interview with MaryamQ - Defence Minister Of USA

Hello to all the readers and US citizens, today im going to share a small interview with MaryamQ the Defence Minister of USA:


- Hi MaryamQ, can u please tell about yourself to our readers?

I'm a RL American, one of the older players in the game. I am retired in RL, and enjoy writing, including poetry, and am a musician, active in church choir and orchestra, playing bassoon. I am also way too interested in politics. 😛


- Why did you start playing eRep?

I started playing because my RL son invited me. He wanted to get the Society Builder medal, but none of his friends wanted to play.


- What countries have you been citizen?

I was born in the eUS, but moved in a few months to help eUS interests, first in eUK, then eBE. I liked eBE and decided to stay. In the time since then, I have returned to the eUS twice now, and also was several times each in eBE and eUK, and I think twice in Poland. The largest chunk of that time was in eBE, where I was elected CP on 3 separate occasions and also served in many cabinets and Congress.


- What business do u have?

I have a little bit of everything, but I only have one employee, so my air weapons holdings are inactive, and I use the employee to build houses for my own use. The food and ground weapons plants, I am working as manager to supply myself and occasionally sell some raws on the market.


- How many laws have you passed so far on the congress?

Passing laws is never the work of one person, unless that person is a dictator. When I am in Congress, which I am not now, but have been a quite a few times, I almost always vote the way the government prefers, as most of these votes are either housekeeping or strategic. I honestly cannot even begin to count the number of these votes I have participated in.


- What is ur daily job as the Defense Minister of USA?

The Minister of Defense has responsibility for organizing and helping to build up the military force of the country. This month, it has been a bit of a learning experience, as our PotUS wanted to reimagine the way things work in our government and make them better. Fortunately, he provided me with a wonderful and active staff, who have been doing a lot of the heavy lifting, and we have had great support from Gnilraps and the rest of the cabinet, as well. A lot of my energy lately has been used in monitoring resistance wars, particularly in Cork, and using my position as Commander of Easy Company to set COs there when needed. As we go into this war period, we will have to shift focus, but I know we have a team we can count on.


- Can you tell us something about the coming war?

At present, we are expecting attacks from Croatia, Ireland and Egypt within the next 24 hours. All citizens should watch their MU feeds and the national feed for more information on where to fight and when. We will keep these updated as more information is available.


- Is there anything else you want to tell our readers?

Remember this is a game, and have fun, but you will have the most fun if you get involved with a party and/or a military unit. These are the best places to find community, and community is what makes this game worth playing.
