Interview with Justino - EDEN SC

Day 1,749, 17:33 Published in Ireland Ireland by Shitstorm

After moomoohead published his article with SC of CoT, I've decided to publish interview with Justino Figueiredo, SC of our alliance - EDEN. Thanks moomoohead for chance to learn more about CoT and now here's the chance to learn more about EDEN and our Supreme Commander. So let's start..

Hello Justino, I've decided to make interview with you because there was interview with CoT SC in Irish papers lately so it would be useful for people to compare those two alliances. Tell me for start where you come from and how did you make it to become SC of EDEN?

Hello Shitstorm, it is a pleasure to be with you here today. I am a Portuguese player and I’ve been playing for almost four years. However, I was not here during that whole period since I took a one year break or so. Furthermore, I used to be a two-clicker for a long time and this only changed in late 2010, when I decided to get more involved in the Portuguese community. In early 2012 I became Country President and did it for five months in a row. During this time, I learned a lot from EDEN and I allowed its spirit to grow in my heart. I believe in EDEN and I will defend every single one of our brothers with all my heart.
I believe that I became SC of EDEN because people know who I am and what I stand for. They also know that I carry the true spirit of EDEN in my heart and soul and that I don’t mind working like a beast.

Can you explain meaning of EDEN if few words?

I know people will probably troll me for this, but I don’t care. This is what I utterly believe in. EDEN is not about regions, bonuses nor damage. EDEN is about friendship and brotherhood. EDEN is about sacrificing yourself to help an ally. EDEN is about being there from the beginning until the end. EDEN is about keeping on fighting and never giving up. However, I have no illusions. Not everyone understands or will understand this. But I believe that, one day, they will.
“Victoria aut mors”

Do you think EDEN is taking good care of countries whitin alliance who can't do so much influence on battlefields (for example: Ireland)

In EDEN, all countries are equal and I will fight day and night to keep it that way. Therefore, lately, a lot of our “smaller” countries have been getting a lot of support from their brothers. However, if you feel that there is something more we could do, don’t worry. Help will come. Everyone matters, everyone counts.

How do you see EDEN's future?

Bright, with chances of a few more Leaves on our Tree, perhaps.

What do you think about Ireland as part of EDEN. Are we good allies? Does EDEN respect us?

I believe that Ireland is a great ally. You give everything you have for your brothers and you are not afraid of making sacrifices. Add some Irish loyalty in there and I couldn’t really ask for more from Ireland. EDEN and I have the utmost respect for you, I can tell you that much.

I saw some speculations that eIreland could leave EDEN. How would EDEN feel then? What would happen with our relations?

I don’t want to see Ireland leave, period. It would be a great loss for our Brotherhood and I know all our countries would be sad to see you leave. Nevertheless, if for some reason Ireland wishes to part ways with EDEN, we will have to let you go. Still, I would have to try to convince Ireland to stay with us, obviously.

Can you tell me your opinion about other alliances like ONE, CoT, CTRL(?)

I have nothing but respect for them.

I know you can't say me which countries are your favourite friends, but is Ireland at least in top 5 for you?

Personally, and as a Portuguese player, yes they are. I’ve had many great times with the Irish players.

Who do you think is biggest enemy of our alliance?

Our fears, our doubts, our lack of faith (I find it disturbing).

What will EDEN do about our war with Poland? Send help to defend through MPP's? Send help in future RW's? I understand you can't give me your war plans, but does EDEN even want to liberate Ireland?

When the time is right, Ireland will get help. And I know that the Irish will make that day absolutely glorious.

What message would you send to the Irish?

“Alright boys, we've got them right where we want them.”
I know that many of you will understand what I’m trying to tell you.

Justino, thank you for your time, I know you're very busy and I believe this is really nice gesture from you. Also thank you sawc for making this interview possible.

Thank you for reading,
