Szia eWorld !!

I'm so happy that I met this honest and outstanding person.
I enjoyed while doing this interview, so enjoy your reading in the next few minutes too 🙂

- You’re in this game since 2009. 3 years it’s a long period of time spent here. So how do you see this game, this virtual life?

Ipath: I like to believe I see it very different way as most of the players. First, I had the chance to work with the creators of this game for pretty much time. This enlightened things I can't see till that. But I still try to take this as a GAME. If you forget this and stop playing it, take it as real life, you will burn out.
Second, I made very good RL connections here. I'm proud of my friends. They are maybe the most inglorious bastards I ever known 🙂

- You have created DeVAS Military Unit before. What motivate you to create the vision of you not only as fighter, but as a soldier, and part of a MU?

Ipath: Basically two things: I’m a lonely wolf, I don’t like when somebody wants to tell me where to hit. I don’t think I was made of a good soldier, I like to fight but I neither to strong nor too commited. I fight where I think it is needed to fight...and it sometimes not meet what is the order at regular Military Units. The other thing is that I always loved the movies of Quentin Tarantino 🙂

- What about your ePolitical experience?

Ipath: My political carreer started (and ended) at the party called A KARD. This is a left wing autoriter party, one of the most old ones. For a long time I can’t participate at politics since my other duties, but after I can start it I had pretty good months there. I was so lucky that I could lead the party as a president twice, represent it at the congress at 11 times. After an argument about a president candidate I left the party and now work independently. I consider one of my biggest political success that I could win a presidency against my own partys candidate with my friend Rhual.

- Once a CP of Hungary. What kind of experience was this for you, what does it takes to be a good president , what skills and abilites you have to own to lead a country, even in a virtual world?

Ipath: First of all one of our present Goverment member just told that I was suck as a CP 🙂 Anyway, I think it was a good month, not an easy month but we solved the problems (my account had been hacked by a polish hacker).

To be a good CP I think you need only a few skills: commitment, to not give a damn about others opinion if you know what you do, to be talkative (use that Media Modul!). Other than this you need a medium ammount of time (5-6 hours daily - when I was a CP it was much more, about 10 hours a day, but things changes), you need a few good friends who keeps your back, and a little bit of luck.

I was in less of luck, but I had some very good friends who helped me when I was in need. I like small teams, I always hated big Goverments with 20 or more people, but this is the trend of the present day, so I accommodate.

- You have been appointed as Game Moderator, a period of three months ..So, what are the advantages or disadvantages of being a moderator in eRepublik?

To be a moderator was a very hard thing. It has more cons than pros, but it was a very good experience. I love the team, they were and still awesome, and do a very good job. However their (and back in time mine) situation is very har😛 they have to find the balance between the needs of players and the needs of eRepublik, which is a business - and you must understand it: people and their family lives at RL by working on this game. The pros: I met a lot of interesting people, I could see all of my deleted articles, get a fully new viewpoint about the ecosystem of eRepublik. The cons: you delete the content of people ---> they not gonna like you at all for this, and it takes a LOT of time to be a GOOD moderator. You can do it shitty, but I choose not to.

- You’re Prime Minister at the current Hungarian Government. What you’re due to, what’s your commitment? How do you see Hungarian’s currently military and political situation?

Ipath: To be honest I’m not a Prime Minister 🙂 I’m Vice-President of Hungary, they just implemented this stuff recently, and they named it wrong... Anyway, it is the seventh time I take this position, and I think Rhual (3x CP of HU) and I built this positon at Hungary. It lies on our friendship and trust in each other. So this is not a position for me, I just give what is my personality. I only take this position if one of my best friends ask me, so we can always work very closely. My duties are cover everything what a president can do, and even what he had no time to do too 🙂

Hungarys current situation is pretty good politically. We are not as divided as we used to, but we still have a nice political life, with nice arguments etc. About military... I think we should centralize better our military and change the support system, but these are big steps to make, so we do it slowly, one-by-one.

- Macedonia as Hungarian's ally, Macedonians as Hungarian's friends.. How do you see Macedonian-Hungarian friendship, how strong enough is this brotherhood?

Ipath: I remember when the admins announced that they want to implement Macedonia 🙂 It was very long ago, isnt’t it? Time flies by..
It wasn’t a question that we will look you as our strategic ally from the beginning. I could tell tales about it, but it won’t be true: you was a right place at a right time. We needed a country at the Greek border, you were there.

The friendship what is today formed later. It needed time to be rock solid and well-deserved, we both had to prove each other our commitment, that we can trust each other and I think we both did our best. Macedonia saved our souls many times as I hope you feel we did to you too. Back at the days we were the ‘Older brother’ to you and Serbia. Now the younger brothers grown up, and are stronger than we (yes, you do!). But I don’t think these changes ever was felt by common people, we only saw that we can count on each other and thats what make brotherhoods.

- I really appreciate people’s personality. I think that she’s the mirror of our souls, not our appearance. So Ipath, how do you see yourself? What kind of person you’re in RL, do you try here, in this game, to show the real person, hiding behing your nick?

Ipath: This is a nice question and complicate to answer in one word. I like to see eRepublik as a training ground for me. In my RL life I need good leading skills and from the beginning I try to improve myself here. I’m not to kind as a leader, most of the people could (and yes, they do it) say I’m very arrogant, but I hope my results justify my style. It isn’t my goal to make them love me, my goal is to make them work for the country.

In RL I like to enjoy my life: women, drinks and fast cars. I’m far less talkative, but always have my opinion about things, which I like to stick to. I’m an economist, lives at Budapest the capital of Hungary. Since I have a few dozen friends from here there is already too much people know my RL identity, but I try to keep this number low.

- One more question to answer , to finish our interview. Do you have something to tell us, it might be a piece of advice, or what’s your inspirational motto?

Ipath: I like very much my motto at eRepublik: “We all have to decide for ourselves how much sin we can live with” This means so much... Everybody should think about it for a couple of minutes..
I can’t give you better advice for this game than Steve: Stay hungry, stay foolish!

Ipath, it was my honor \o/
