Interview with Eric Vanderberg, the AMP candidate

I dedicate this article of my newspaper to publish a short interview I have done recently. My guest is a very well known and influential person in the American political circles, and a very good friend : Eric Vanderberg, the next candidate for the seat of Party President in the American Military Party.
I hope you will enjoy my first interview. So, let’s begin.



It’s really nice that you have accepted to answer my questions, Mr. Eric Vanderberg. Do you really want to run for President of the American Military Party?
Of course I do, running for the AMP is always an experience.

Can you tell us something about yourself?
I'm 34, I live in Delaware in the United States and I work in the private sector. I am a big hockey fan and I have a dog and a cat.

What do you think it will change in your life, becoming President of the AMP?
Oh man, so much, running the AMP is my life's dream. Isn't that sad?

It's not sad, it's a great ambition! Who is your favorite American President in real life?
I've always been partial to Theodore Roosevelt.

Are you really sure you will run for AMP President?
I have to, its my life's dream.

What do you think are your greatest strengths and your greatest weaknesses?
Strengths are my sense of honor and duty, weakness is pride definitely.

Who is your favorite celebrity?
Of all time I am a big Eric Lindros fan, of the now, Josh Gates. I've met them both.

The hockey champion and the famous explorer.

What are your current thoughts about the situation in Afghanistan?
We failed with the people of Afghanistan, but we can't help those who refuse to help themselves. It was a really bad catch-22 there.

What is the funniest thing that has happened to you during your time in eRepublik?
Long time ago in the old National Guard IRC server I let out an anguished "Nooooooooo" and logged off to find Axe-ccident who had logged off to go do something only to find out they logged in the very second I logged out. It caused a great bit of laughter that day.

I know the AMPers are very demanding people so, sorry if I bother you asking again, but, are you really sure you want to run for AMP President?
Lifes. Dream. Sir.

What plans do you have for this term?
That's an illegal question.

Who will be in your Cabinet of Ministers?
John Killah, you probably and Evry.

Do you have anything to say to the former Party President, Eric Vanderberg?
I'm coming for you!

Do you have anything to say to all your opponents who are competing against you for the same prestigious position?
Please, consider dropping out, this is MY life’s dream after all.

Is there anything you would wish to say to all the bigger parties out there?
We’re small and quiet but we’re still here!

Be the President of the AMP could be a very hard job. So, we all want to be sure of one thing: are you really sure you will run for AMP President?
