International Front Lines - Volume 3, Day 1240

My apologies for not getting this third installment of this article series out sooner - I was hoping to of released it yesterday, when there were MORE battles to report about - but, such is life.. and this will have to do 😉

Today, on the global level... things are much quieter than normal, however, we still have FIVE BATTLES to report to you! Some of which are taking place right here, on North American soil - and many of which are taking place over in Europe!

So, as of 15:20 eRepublik time, on Day 1240... Here are your daily battle reports!

NORTH AMERICA - The battlefronts here, have been getting stale and old recently, as no major progressions have been seen by (just about) anyone! The most action that we have seen so far (and will most likely see, in the near future), is the WAR between SPAIN and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and the LAND SWAP between CANADA and the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.



Here we can see, that SPAIN (brown on the map), has successfully retained their one CAPTURED AMERICAN region of MARYLAND; and as a result of this, SPAIN has been able to maintain "war momentum" by attacking the AMERICAN region of MARYLAND.

NOTE: Since this article was published, it has come to our attention that the AMERICANS have LOST this region - and SPAIN now holds ownership of this region!



WESTERN EUROPE - The western European battlefield, over the past days and weeks, has seen three major "fronts" appear. The first front, is between SPAIN, POLAND and FRANCE (as SPAIN and POLAND both have successfully initiated a "pincer" move on FRANCE - where SPAIN has taken all of the southern regions, and POLAND has taken all of the northern regions). The second front we have seen, is the front that has developed between BELGIUM and the NETHERLANDS - which (as I am being told) is a simple land "retuning" war between these two countries. Finally, we have seen a new front (starting) to evolve - which has been taking place on POLISH home regions, as SWEDEN has recently been attacking POLISH regions!



As wee can see here, SPAIN (brown on the map), is currently in a DEFENSIVE BATTLE against FRANCE (pale tan on the map) - as SPAIN, over the past few weeks, has been able to successfully take over many French regions (including Loire Valley, Limousin, Poitou Charentes, Auvergne, and Midi-Pyrenees) - which has taken a critical role (from the standpoint of ONE/NWO) in reducing FRANCE down to just ONE REGION!



As we can also see, F.Y.R.O.M. (green on the map) has now also decided to step in - perhaps because of their affiliations with Indonesia, Hungary; and the affiliations of their affiliated countries - and help SPAIN (brown on the map), and POLAND (not seen on the map), by claiming one of the French Islands (Corsica) for their own!



SOUTHERN EUROPE - Southern Europe, as I have said before, is one of the most dangerous places to live and to work, as many VICIOUS RIVALRIES have been formed here (with the predominant ones being between ROMANIA and HUNGARY, ITALY and F.Y.R.O.M., SERBIA and BULGARIA, and, SERBIA and CROATIA). Today, it is much quieter here than one would expect - for what reasons, this reporter is not sure! 😉



West Srpska Republic, is the current battlefield, open between BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA (dark turquoise on the map), and SERBIA (salmon on the map). A while back, SERBIA was successfully able to eradicate BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA from the map - and up until just recently, Bosnians have been starting to take some action on this situation (after they renewed MPPs and ALLIANCES) - and have successfully been able to reclaim a solid 4 of their regions (however, as we see now, SERBIA is attempting to retake all of the regions, that BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA have liberated).



The second battle that is emerging in Southern Europe, is that between BULGARIA (purple on the map), and SERBIA (salmon on the map) - which was formed in the intent, of having SERBIA help try and reduce [/b]BULGARIA's[/b] expansion, over both Southern Europe, the Balkans, and even the Middle East. As we have seen progressively, SERBIA has been able to take a large chunk of BULGARIA, as both countries duke it out on the battlefield. What will be the final outcome of this, no one is quite sure yet! 😉
