Join the new world

Hello eCanada!

I would like to thank you ahead of time, for coming to read the first (of many) "International Front Lines" - an article series based around informing eCanadians of (literally) international warfare (i.e. what wars are going on, which alliance is attacking which country, and so forth).

We have a great line up today of battles and wars to talk about, ranging all the way from the far corners of New Zealand, so the Southern parts of Europe, to even battles taking place on HOME SOIL. As of 8:30 eRepublik Time, on day 1235 - these are your up-to-date international battles.

For the longest time now, the North American front has been very quiet (namely in Canadian regions) - as no major battles, minus training wars, have occurred in both Canadian, American, and even Mexican regions! However, with the ever approaching fear of THE NEW WORLD ORDER (NWO) - we are expecting major attacks on our home soil... and as you will see, some of them have already begun.



Early yesterday morning - former allies, United States of America (purple on the map) and Spain (brown on the map), went at it on American Home Soil. As we can see above, the Spanish attacked the state of Maryland, and have since taken claim of this region.

From what we can tell, this was caused by an INTER-ALLIANCE DISPUTE, as the alliance of NWO (as SPAIN is a NWO/ONE member nation) has decided to take the offensive, and start attack its former allies (by command of NWO) of the United States. Only time will tell how this will play out...

The SOUTH AMERICAN FRONT has seen some of the brutal action over the last few days and weeks, as we have seen numerous countries going at it, trying to take claim of regions! Some fighting countries, include: Peru, Argentina, (and more recently) Spain, and New Zealand! The fights have been brutal, totaling up to almost three different battles EVERY SINGLE DAY!



As we can see above, both Argentina and Peru have been battling each other, attempting to see who is the strongest of the two. However, either way you look at it, there is no clear cut winner yet, as Peru (although having been removed from the map entirely by Argentina) has been making a slow and steady comeback - which is why we can see:

1) PERU (brown on the map) attacking the region of GREAT ANDES (controlled by Argentina)
and
2) ARGENTINA (blue on the map) attacking the region of SOUTHERN LOW AMAZON (controlled by Peru)

Both of these wars have seen some brutal fighting - and this will continue as so, for an indefinite period of time!



As we can see from the above image, the THREAT and FEAR caused by the NWO alliance, and by Spain (brown on the map) itself, is devastating - as on a global scale, Spain now has FOUR open fronts (against Portugal, USA, France, and now BRAZIL (turquoise on the map) has been added into the mix).

Above, we can see the Spanish attacking the BRAZILIAN region of CENTER WEST OF BRAZIL - as they have already taken control of Brazil's NORTHERN region. Again, I want to reinforce that all of this war and fighting, has been caused by NWO wanting to expand, to control as much territory, as they possibly CAN!

Western Europe is also starting to see more fighting, as there are now SIX open fronts (France-Spain, Spain-Portugal, Belgium-Netherlands, Serbia-UK, Canada-Portugal, and Poland-France). To reinforce earlier points, many of these open fronts (namely the Polish-Spanish pincer move oh France) is caused again by an inter-alliance dispute (Terra vs. NWO)!



In a recent turn of events, under the Jacobi Administration, Canada has DECLARED PORTUGAL as a natural enemy, and has begun attacking their few remaining regions. As we can see above, Canada (not shown on the map) has attacked (and has now just recently) taken over the final region of Portugal (which used to be lime-green on the map).

What we can see developing here, is a pincer move (similar to the one caused by Spain and Poland, on France) between Canada and Spain, to wipe Portugal off of the map - yet the ironic thing is "technically" Spain and Canada should be fighting against each other, because of Inter-Alliance reasons - Can you say, "The enemy of my enemy, is my friend"?



The American-Spanish war, as we have previously seen (in North American home soil) - has added a new theater into the mix, as Spain (brown on the map) attack the American's (purple on the map) only remaining EUROPEAN REGION of ALENTEJO.

After this one American region falls in Europe, we can expect heavy hitting from Spain, in the North American Theater, by continuing off of their previously attacked, Maryland!



Spain (brown on the map), in continuing to help out Poland (bright pink on the map) in eliminating France (pale tan on the map) off of the map - due to (once again!) inter-alliance disputes, in which The New World Order wants to expand as much as they can, and has therefore started attacking FRANCE, to expand their own region of control!

What we may see here, is a continued PINCER MOVE by both Poland and Spain, on France, where Spain takes the southern and middle regions of France, and Poland takes the Northern regions! Only time will tell, if France can get all of their original regions back! However, with the might of both of these armies (and with the force behind New World Order), it will take immense co-ordination by TERRA to help out France.



Belgium (not seen on the map), has been fruitfully defending all of their regions, against the NETHERLANDS (salmon coloured on the map) onslaught of their controlled territories.

Although, what we see right now, is Belgium being reduced down to ONLY ONE of their original regions - and as a result is a very vulnerable target for Netherlands to attack! However, this can also be because BELGIUM IN NOT ALIGNED WITH ANY ALLIANCE and therefore has minimal support backing them in these times of need!



Yorkshire and Humberside, is one of the TWO REGIONS that SERBIA (not seen on the map) attempted to take control of, from The United Kingdom (dark blue on the map), when they (Serbia) attempted to make a direct connection with North America, to start attacking both Canada and France! (However, thankfully, The United Kingdom was able to stop Serbia before it was too late!)

What is depicted above, is the final efforts of THE UNITED KINGDOM to gain back all of their regions from the greedy hands of the NEW WORLD ORDER, and luckily with some help from TERRA, they just might be able to!



As seen in the above map, AUSTRIA (after being wiped from the map), is attempting to reclaim all of their regions - and they have started by attacking the Hungarian-Controlled region of BURGENLAND (after both Hungary, and Solvenia worked together to deplete AUSTRIA FROM THE MAP).

Southern Europe, has seen a slightly less intensified amount of fighting - as the main contenders of this region are truly FYROM, GREECE, and TURKEY, who have all been fighting amongst themselves, as you will see!



Eastern Macedonia, an original region of FYROM (Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia, dark green on the map), has been attacked by BELGIUM (Purple on the map) - in an effort to help reduce the amount of damage done to ITALY, in the "Italian-FYROM" war - that has been slowly progressing up to the northern points of Italy!

Although this attack was not meant to be an intention "territorial claim" battle, it is still serving its purpose of deterring FYROM from attacking further Italian regions (an EDEN-supported motion, in order to help free ITALY)!



Finally, we see here, that there is a double conflict going on (remember that "hate" triangle I mentioned earlier, between BULGARIA (purple on map) and TURKEY (light pale tan on map); and TURKEY and GREECE (brown on map)!

What we see here, is BULGARIA attacking the TURKISH region of Marmara - and we also see TURKEY attacking the GREEK region of Aegean Islands - both of which are meant to be TERRITORIAL WARS (i.e. the intent is to claim the region; not just to drain damage!)
