Inspiration for Pakistan
Kutluk Bilge Kul Ishamael
My name is Ishamael Naeblis, and I am here to ask for your support for me in the upcoming Presidential Elections.
Firstly, I think I should introduce myself. I started this game roughly three and a half months ago and was born in Eusa – my referral link deemed it wise as the country had full bonuses. I quickly became interested in the game, and in the wonderful community of that country while establishing contacts with some of the ePakistani players such as Raao and Dodial on skype. Now, I feel that I have enough experience in the game to run for the post of CP in my own country and hope that you vote for me.
This article shall not be one of those which will bore you with tedious clauses and long speeches, I believe in a strong vision that I have for our e-country which I shall publish as follows:
Retention
The biggest problem facing our country right now is our lack of active players. I believe that as a country if we want to become important and achieve the success that we had earlier, we need to have a strong focus on retaining the players that join the game by offering them incentives to continue playing for our country. Apart from the current social programs that are currently running, I will be starting a program which shall give 200 wellness to all new players in our country (less than 3 months old and below 26). This shall increase user interest, our overall damage particularly in division one and contribute to a positive and growing community in ePakistan.
Goals such as meeting the daily DO while working in ePakistani MUs will also be rewarded by dispatches of weapons. Once again, the again is to increase our productivity as a nation and grow by leaps and bounds to compete with mid-level countries in erepublik, instead of low level countries as we currently do.
Economy and Finances
To sponsor my plans for a growing community and the generous daily hand out programs that I intend to start, I believe that ePakistan will need to broaden its economic base and generate more revenue. I have no interest in being a head of state who squanders funds accumulated over a large amount of time on selfish pursuits to gain more prestige and popularity in his nation.
Firstly, I’d like to say that the recent dropping of import and VAT taxes on weapons was a positive change for our country as it gets more foreign investment by making us a desirable location for export license holders. I would further propose decreasing the import taxes to 1 % in food and decreasing the VAT to 5% in both food and weapons, and grill Congress on this matter. While the tax-income per product sold for the country will decrease, the overall growth because of us becoming one of the top destinations for export license holders will lead to an increase in funding and lead to massive increases in our tax income.
Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs
The New World in general right now stands at a cross roads right now. The weakening of TERRA, the formation of CoT, disputes such as the one between Ukraine and Moldova in EDEN and issues in ONE have made for a volatile political atmosphere in general for this month. I believe that ePakistan deserves an aware and active Country President to charter the best possible way for our country, to make it succeed politically in foreign affairs.
Media and Education
Recently, a couple of ePakistani players have taken the initiative by restarting the ePakistani radio, a private venture. As CP, I would like to promote such activities, as well as educating the players on fundamentals related to erepublik such as educating them about getting started, the geo strategic importance of our nation, the various alliances and what roles they play as well as how to grow faster on erepublik. Whether its regular trivia nights or radio shows related to light humour, everything which promotes a friendly, fun side to our country will be encouraged.
tl;dr: Vote for someone with a plan on election day. Vote for Ishamael Naeblis for a prosperous ePakistan!

Give me a reason to love you and I'll be honest-
After all this time I know those who've earned respect and know what to do. It's a lot more complicated than simply saying "Okay, elect me and ALL THE GOLDS/A MILLION CITIZENS/CONQUER THE WORLD.
There ARE things that can be done though, often small but the future can become a little brighter with them- and after that illumination is clear another 'small' light can be installed.
Anyway- give me a reason to love you and ~ LE CHARACTER LIMIT
I'll likely give you a chance, and my vote. I've always firmly believed in giving a newbie a shot, their enthusiasm and naivety can surprise. -And that 'new player smell'? (and by that I mean that energy younger players still hold) it can make a difference, even if small.
Either way- good luck. ePaki needs more new blood :3
P.S.
THE INSPIRATION, OH MY DIO.

Good luck , ePakistan need's you 🙂!
Good luck o/

i have the following questions.
1) how many people u think have licenses to sell in pakistan?
2) do u have any guarantee that lowering these taxes will generate enough income to fill our coffers?
3) how r u going to retain players, if ur tax plan fails?
4) U mentioned CoT, Eden, Teden, Terra, One. But where r u gonna take us, u have not mentioned it ?
5) what r u gonna do for baby boom? if we dont have new players, u cant retain them.
Regards
Wehshi
1. Right now the number of people with licenses in ePakistan is extremely low, mainly because of the 99% import taxes that had been levied on both weapons and food- taxes were recently decreased in weapons, which as I mentioned is a positive change. This will serve to marginally increase the number of people with export licenses in Pakistan, although this is certainly a thing that we should continue exploiting to improve the revenue situation in our treasury.
2. Its pretty simple, (ctd)
wehshigujjar I would love to see u talk like this to the elder 😑
(cntd) erepublik runs on a capitalist streak, i.e. people go and like to do business in communities and countries with the maximum profit offered. Right now, this easy method of generating revenue (that has so far been ignored by the ePakistanis) will almost certainly cause a gain in boom. Quite simply, decreasing tax from 99% to 1% = gain for a businessman. This along with decreases in VAT as I propose will increase revenue for the country and make damage and FF cheaper for the newbies in ePak.
3. Retaining players 😕= Tax Boom. The two are entirely different things. While I firmly and strongly believe that my plan for generating revenue can and will work, I think we as a country can definitely use the extra revenue in our country treasury reserves if needed for training the newbies who will be the future of this e-land - that is what the treasury is for in my opinion, instead of gathering dust.
4. This has been misinterpreted. I value our relations with the current brotherly (contd
..countries, and intend to keep those. However, I shall be open to make strategic and vital MPPs with other countries too if the oppurtunity presents itself.
5. I firmly believe that you need to have a structure in place - and not the current one involving patronage- before you can actively campaign for a baby boom. Baby booms in other countries such as France have failed because of disorganisation. I'd rather have newbie retention tools and a proper plan for helping them getting started (ctd
before advocating thousands of rupees on a baby boom which may well turn into a temporary splurge before fizzling out.
tl;dr, in point 3, I meant to say Retaining players is not equal to Tax Boom. Erep doesnt let smileys work.
dear YuUrIsAN, i do grill them on all matters. unfortunately i am not in a habit of presenting evidence. so u'll just have to believe me.
Ishamael, ur whole policy revolves around changing taxes and players with export licenses.
There r v few players with export licences.
More and more countries will be changing their tax systems.
If ur tax policy backfires or doesnt generate enough money, u wont hav enough to support ur scheme of ff+weapons. whats ur backup plan ?
ff+weapons might retain 5+10% of players, what about the rest of the population ? how do u plan to make them active ?
Finding loopholes in analyses provided by others is easy. Actually coming up with a platform by yourself is hard. I humoured you by answering your questions the first time but considering the fact that you're letting some blatant flaws in the campaign article of my opponent slide while continuing to grill me publically on the most trivial of matters; I'm sorry but I'll reply with your post to yuurisan and save everyone the hassle of another Q & A roun😛 You'll just have to believe me.
@Ishamael ur supporters have done a v good job of dissecting cluster's article, so y reinvent the wheel?
Heh
Ishameal, your opponent's manifesto already got an article against it in the media with hell lots of votes. So consider it grilled already.
>Quite simply, decreasing tax from 99% to 1% = gain for a businessman.
What you do not know is that about 90-95% products on Pakistani market is bought by a bot. This high taxes were introduced recently in order to abuse mechanics the bot is using in order to generate enough profit. Businessmen could still earn a lot more by selling in Pakistan than in Poland or USA.
As for the baby boom, while I do agree the structure is necessary, I think that unlike with French baby boom, which dated to Aug or Sept 2009, the structure already exists. During v1, not many people had companies, fake job offers were very often used (it was a middle of a WW3, ofc people were playing dirty) and it was much harder to survive in general as a newcomer.
(...)
(...) One of the more recent babybooms that failed was South Korean babyboom which happened somewhere during January. It didn't fail because of the lack of infrastructure, but because they had no country. Babies could use existing eROC companies to work, but it was very discouraging for them to be occupied and current government failed to secure a region, constantly trying to liberate themselves rather than negotiate, which I was proposing to their CPs over a course of 3 months.
(...)
(...) As for the retention, except a few megabooms, such are Serbian, Macedonian and Polish, which had a very strong RL background (not just media, but also state of mind of the people), a babyboom is considered very successful if the retention rate is 10% after one month.
bozli for president!!!!
Rea😛 http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-wga-state-of-the-country-pk--2074065/1/20
Bozli, you do know that bot buying has decreased significantly with the advent of the rocket now, right? And I am failing to see how an import tax of 99% promotes business, unless you you think the bot buys at double the base price, something which I haven't seen happen in my time on this game.
