Fellow ANP members,

I have served two terms as ANP Party president now. I am proud of our achievements in providing secure government for Australia. We have provided a team of active Senators and Cabinet members (sir_c0nstant, venja and Kyle Thornton), I am currently the Speaker of the Senate, and we have worked hard to support the government in its war efforts.

The ANP as Australia's biggest party serves an important role in the community, offering assistance and guidance to new players and providing a stable voice for broad inclusive policies relative to all Australians - not just for vocal minority interest groups.

The key belief of the ANP is government for all through low taxing and small government policy. We believe that money is best spent by the individual and that the role of the government is limited to those large projects which can only be achieved by the collective (infrastructure and national security). Otherwise, the market is best positioned to supply our nation's goods and services in the most efficient manner possible.

The topic of nationalism has been raised during the campaign. Nationalism can be a dangerous dog-whistle used to whip up frenzy and outrage in the population. Patriotism is of course to be commended but nationalism instills an unquestioning faith in the government at the expense of transparency, accountability and the right to question our elected officials.

I will never shirk away from the ANPs duty to question the government of the day, whether the Minister be ANP or not. It is only through the rigor of debate and challenge that the we can cut through the fog of politics and arrive at the truth.

My records stands alone for all to judge. In my time as Party President, I have been ever-present. I have made the ANP's views known. I have written articles prolifically on the issues of the day and stated the ANP's position regarding these issues. I have worked constructively with the Cerb and Xavier Griffith Cabinets. I will continue to work doggedly for the Party and ask for your support to allow me to continue this work.
