Indrae for South Dakota [November Elections]

Day 729, 15:51 Published in USA USA by Indrae
Hello. My name is Indrae, and I am running for Congress in the state of South Dakota as a Libertarian. It would be an honor to serve the state, and the nation.

Experience
For the past few months, I have worked with the Citizenship Task Force. In that time, I have served as a staff member, the Deputy Director, and I am currently the Director of the CTF. The CTF collects information regarding the people who request the citizenship of this great eNation, and based on that information, the Director makes a decision on whether or not they should be approved by a congressman. All this work would be for nothing if it wasn't for the cooperation of Congress, which has improved greatly during this term.

How does this relate to my run for Congress? During the time I've spent working at the CTF, I have learned to appreciate teamwork, the necessity of hardwork in order for anything to run smoothly, and patience. These are things that I believe all congressman should understand, and are what I would bring to Congress if I am elected.

My Platform
In my opinion, there are only a handful of issues that are voted on by Congress that require much debate. Laws such as CBO donations, the renewal of MPPs, and the issuing of USD, are not issues that require debate. These are laws that are necessary in order to make sure that our country runs smoothly. Therefore, I will not elaborate any more on those.

On the issues that require debate, I will always side with what is best in regards to the interests of the eNation. As this is a game, I will also vote for what makes sense when it comes to game mechanics.

Taxes
The current tax system that we use now is one of the most efficient in the game. It provides the funds necessary to run our military, which in turn provides defense, and makes us a stronger nation. Also, I believe that our current infrastructure system, and the use of fortress states, is a sound system that does not need to be changed any time in the near future.

Foreign Policy
In regards to foreign policy, I believe that we need to strengthen our ties with our allies. They helped us out in our time of need, and it is only fair that we should return the favor. When it comes to neutral nations, countries that are not enemy or allied, I believe that we should respect their neutrality, and offer them a helping hand when they need it. Our main focus should be to continue to fight against our adversaries in PEACE (and those nations that used to be in PEACE; Hungary, Indonesia, etc.), in an effort to secure the safety of our allies, and ourselves. We should also attempt to reach out to the fringe nations of PEACE, and attempt to warm up our relations with them.

If you are interested in voting for me, let me know and I will provide moving tickets.

Indrae,
Director of the CTF
