Indonesia's Aggression
Shauny B
As I am sure you are all aware, Indonesia has declared war on Malaysia. The Indonesians are undoubtedly the power in this part of the world, but that they believe that they can push other countries around is sickening. Their aggression against us was unprovoked, as was their aggression against China and Russia (amongst others).
Their new target is Malaysia. We have an MMP with the Malay's, and it is the duty of all Australian citizens to protect our allies. I urge every Australian to protect our interests and the interests of our allies. Together, we can halt Indonesian aggression.
But, is that far enough? An independent Indonesia is a dangerous Indonesia. I know we are not the most powerful of nations, but whilst we have allies, we may as well use them. Attacking Indonesia might not succeed, but we could draw their fire from Malaysia. If the USA are as interested in us as they say, they should come to our aid.
Thanks for reading my two cents

Cool picture, I remember it from Civ II.
Nice article, voted n subbed
Also, are you hinting at an offensive against eIndo? I don't think eAus is in any position to start that type of conflict, even with USA's help. Focusing on rebuilding our military strength should be the number one priority imho
@ Aaron T
Yes, I slightly am. I don't mean we should aim for it to achieve anything, just to put eIndo on the back foot. They have pissed off enough countries around them, so we should find sympathetic nations.
I do agree that we need to rebuild and restructure before we start any major offensives, as any gains we did make would be lost without it.
Just waiting for your turn... 😃
Shauny - yes, an attack on eIndo *is* possible. However, rather than striking directly, we'd have to strike *west* liberating the eSAfrican region and denying the eIndos access to Diamonds. Without Diamonds, their Gift industry suffers, reducing the Wellness they can burn on extra attacks.
Of course, we'd then have to allow RWs to return the regions to eSAfrica - eAus has neither the size nor mindset for an empire. However, eAus doesn't have the resources to launch such an attack without aid - so who has companies without workers? Would you be willing to offer bonuses to EDEN tanks who wanted to work here, and be willing to sack them *immediately* should they need to leave eAus for another battlefield?
@whitelaughter
I think its too late, didn't eIndo already give those regions that neighbour us back to eSouth Africa?
@ whitelaughter
It is really a case of using your enemy's hand to catch a snake. Not that we are really enemies with EDEN, but you get my drift. And thank you for reminding me about SA. I slightly forgot about eIndo's involvement in South Africa 😛
I'm sure we can find some EDEN players willing to head here for some fun, but whether one can find them jobs is another issue. And I completely agree that we are in no state to start an empire.
