INDIA UNITED: THE COMMON PARTY MANIFESTO FOR CONGRESS AND MORE
Suvajit
It’s been quite an interesting time in EIndia for the last few months and with the coming Congress Elections and Presidential Elections we, India United, decided to come out with our Common Congress Manifesto and clarify some of our actions and standpoints.
Since all our members are contesting the Congress Elections from India United Party, instead of individual articles, this Common Congress Manifesto is intended to elicit the collective goals and resolutions that signify the perspectives of all our election contestants and hence of the party as a whole.
India United is the oldest and largest party in EIndia. And I am happy and proud to mention over here that we still have some of our founding members, like Fireredsky and Mavrick10DodgeKnight, as our active members and leaders. Other than pride what this signifies is the amount of vast experience that we bring on the table as a political party.
We have been the biggest party in EIndia and majority in Congress for quite some time now. And being the biggest party entails a lot of responsibilities. As they say, “With great power, comes great responsibility”. Being the leading party in EIndia we have the responsibility of guiding our country in the right directions and protecting her from any external threats. And we sure take these responsibilities seriously.
Our devotion to our responsibilities and our maturity in decision making had been quite evident from our actions. In the last two CP elections we have supported candidates from other parties who we believed to be the most competent person to lead the country irrespective of the fact that they were contesting the election from other parties. This is because we at India United value our country’s interest as our primary objective and above everything else.
As the strongest party in EIndia we believe it is our duty to encourage, strengthen and educate the newer and younger members in the party and the country about governance and politics.
Hence at every Congress Elections we nominate at least 4 new and young players to contest and win under the party banner. The only criterion s that these players have to fulfill to be nominated are that they have to actively involved and make positive contributions to the country and party.
We believe that it is our responsibility to nurture and develop the future leaders for EIndia and Congress is the best way to learn about government and national responsibilities and politics and hence we actively encourage new players to contest and win in the Congress Elections. This also in turn helps the players to develop themselves and grow up faster in the game.
We are the country’s strongest defense against any kind of external and PTO threats. Though we do not and will not react to every conspiracy theory, we will use our might in cases where we deem the national interest is at stake.
As the majority in Congress, we have been exemplary in our actions and in fulfilling of our duties.
We are the first ones to bring out any issues on part of the government and have a discussion about it in order to rectify it. In recent times, we have been the ones who have raised our voice about the need for complete transparency and discussions on part of the Government with Congress Members on any proposal that is to be passed. We have also asked for shorter time frame to discuss and decide on anything the Government is willing to bring out as proposal.
We also believe it to be of utmost importance, to maintain discipline and honor the sanctity of the Congress and hence we completely adhere by the Rules of Congress and fully comply with the Head of Congress. As the responsible majority in Congress, we have in recent times provided our support to the acting CP and saved him from juvenile impeachment proposals and will continue to do so in future too.
We think we are accountable for our actions as the majority in Congress and hence take extreme precautions if any of our members strays from their responsibilities and make certain that they do not represent the party in any future elections.
India United have survived the test of time and will always be there in times of need and actively take decisions to pass the right decisions through congress.
The decisions in the party are taken after discussions with Core Committee which is a team of active and contributing party members. The official channel for the party on IRC is #IU-Pub where all the members of the party are invited to join and voice their opinion. We also have a group in Facebook and we suggest all members to join the group. We are always looking for new members to join the Core Committee and become a part of the think-tank.
India United will always strive in its effort to strengthen EIndia and act responsibly in its politics. We do not play this game for our personal gains and neither is this the party to join if the sole intention of joining is to win an election to add those personal trophies in the profile, as we have proved time and again in the past.
India United will always be associated with transparency, integrity and brotherhood as these are the key foundations on which this giant party had been laid.
India United is not just a political party in EIndia. India United is an experience to be shared and enjoyed that makes playing this game worthwhile. So My Fellow Countrymen, if you have those qualities and abilities instilled in you, come join us and be a part of the legacy that is India United.
Vote for us and support us in the coming Congress and Presidential Elections and allow the most experienced and strongest party in EIndia guides it to a better future with a steady hand.

Heh... voted.
dude, why captain planet...damn! okay...good luck...lol
it is true that IU has been the driving force behind staving off PTOs BUT DPI and Yuuva are quite dynamic and full of energy. Nice mix of political action we have here - quite intriguing!
no doubt ash bhai...i mentioned IU here but as u said DPI and Yuuva had been quite active on that respect too : D
Brilliant stuff!
@naga-wanted to end on a light hearted manner..but took ur advice : D
Thanks a lot navin bhai : D
voted and nice article yes total respect to iu,it is the party in eindia that all other parties can look up to and follow in its foot steps i for one have always admired iu and the way iu goes about its way in politics o7
Hail IU!
'In the last two CP elections we have supported candidates from other parties who we believed to be the most competent person to lead the country irrespective of the fact that they were contesting the election from other parties.'
Neeraj was IU when he ran for president against Prabal. : /
@suvajit ~ no, lol...sorry if you took it that way!... 😐
What I meant was that in every episode of captain planet the same thing used to happen 😃 ...smoke and he falls off from the sky like a dragonfly whose wings have been cut off. Oil and he would be transformed from a superhero into a coughing oldman...lol That is all there is to it...I was talking about the comic...
Alector so what's the problem? We chose the competent one...
I have no problem with this manifesto or with IU, Commius. I am just pointing out a significant blunder - Suvajit is implying that Prabal was an IU candidate, when in fact he opposed IU in the October CP elections.
Or it could be that Suvajit is discrediting Neeraj.
We didnt say Prabal was IU candidate. But it says we did support the person who deserves the post irrespective of the party.
Nice
Good article!
Sweeet article! Couldn't have said it better!
Alector, shush. No one's discrediting anyone. Neeraj Was a good candidate at the time - I personally encouraged him to contest; Prabal turned out to be better.
IU has always watched out for eIndia's interest above party interest. We did support Neeraj of course; but as some have implied lately that just to see IU win, we would put personal judgements aside - like a herd mentality - well the fact that Prabal won is proof to the contrary. We put up Neeraj, campaigned for him; but the better candidate won. Though Neeraj possibly holds it against us, we didn't ensure he won, Just because he was IU. Simple.

@Alector- As Mav and Hemanathankumar pointed out neither did i imply that Prabal was a IU candidate nor m i trying to discredit Neeraj....
