Hello, and welcome back to "late night with gessho".

I've had a few days in the congress, and I've participated in a number of votes and discussions. I'll leave the record here, and then we'll discuss some of the highlights.

26 March:
NO -- raise minimum wage to 1.1 USD
YES -- mutual protection pact with Canada
YES -- donate 99999 USD to Congressional Budget Office
NO -- issue 69 USD for 0.345 gold
NO -- increase iron import tax to 10%
NO -- transfer 80300 USD to Dream One (Hungarian org)
NO -- impeach president
YES -- issue 200000 USD for 1000 gold
NO -- raise new citizen fee to 8.5 USD

27 March:
YES -- ban PizzaTheHut from private congressional forum
YES -- transfer 99999 USD to Congressional Budget Office


Some of you are no doubt wondering what is the deal with PizzaTheHut? I'm getting there.

I volunteered to work with the Immigration Enforcement Subcommittee, Max McFarland 2's old stomping grounds. I find immigration enforcement interesting and very fulfilling, because keeping PENIX out of the eUS is of first importance. In volunteering for this, I had the opportunity to read Pizza's immigration file, which is open to all congresspersons, but likely not read by most of them.

Mr. Hut was denied eUS citizenship for violation of immigration laws and for defecting to an enemy country during time of war. Not to mention, his conduct on IRC and in the forums has been somewhat of a disappointment. For these reasons, I don't see why he should be allowed access to the private congressional forums. Besides, if he has as much support as he claims, he doesn't need my vote.

The only other news I have to report is that I also volunteered to serve on the Citizen Affairs Subcommittee, but the results of subcommittee selections aren't out yet. I'll keep you posted. Also, I went to a night of boxing in RL a few days ago, and I saw two Japanese chicks get the snot knocked out of them, which was p cool.
