ICE's Plan for the Australian United Party

If you haven't read it and don't want to then the main point of that last article is how bad a job Mateo2 is doing as AUP president.

The Australian United Party seriously needs new leadership and direction. With the launch of V1 any day now (my bet is after these next party elections), the AUP needs to be ready for it's chance to help Australia become independent once again.

This article is my plan for the party if I am elected.
My aim for the Australian United Party is for it to become an effective and active organisation point for Australians in eRepublik. I plan to turn to AUP into a well known place where the Australian independence movement can organise its ideas and strategies. This is how I will do this if I am electe😛

1st Aim: To hold a comprehensive and conclusive survey as to wether or not the Australian United Party should propose to another party in Indonesia to form a coalition. I will not propose this until it is clear that a majority of AUP members want this. I understand the problems however that a coalition party might have, such as a language barrier. It is a matter of wether or not AUP members believe we can overcome this so that we can have Australians in the Indonesian congress.

I am pleased to say though that I have been in contact with members of the Indonesian congress who sympathise with our cause.

2nd Aim: To supply moving tickets or the funds for moving tickets to Australians who wish to return to Australia or to new players who were confused at the start of the game and started in another country because they didn't see Australia on the list. This will happen in the current situation of Indonesia controlling Australian as well as happening if Australia gains its independence. Either way, Australia need Australian living in it to support it!

3rd Aim: To make it clear that the AUP is here to help all Australians. If elected, I want the Australian United Party to be a clear organisation point for all Australian independence movements in eRepublik. The AUP will become an on-site area where players can gather to discuss plans for Australia hopefully without the clutter and spam in the forums.

It should be noted the whilst I think it will be far easier and successful for Australia to regain its independence peacefully, with the launch of V1 and the resistance war concept the AUP could also serve as an area for the planning of a resistance war.

I want the AUP to work with all Australians and all Australian independence movements for the greater good.

4th Aim: The Australian United Party needs its members to be informed of what is happening so they don't lose interest and hope. This means that the AUP must have frequent press releases and messages to members so people know what we are doing.

So yeah, that's my plan. I know it is long but we've had dud leadership for so long its going to take a bit of work to get the Australian United Party back on tracks. We need to have a clear objective and a clear strategy for Australian independence. The AUP and other Australian independence movements need to work together so we can use our full strength.

I desperately hope that whoever is elected the AUP president in these next elections is not another lazy bugger. I promise that that The Red Republican will hold them the next Australian United Party president accountable and be very fast to let people know if they are not doing an adequate job.
