Have you seen my gal, Val?

If you see her wandering the public square, dancing clumsily like a fool and babbling nonsensically to herself, please show her the way to the nearest mental health clinic or dance studio, whichever. She suffers a serious condition, some say she has multiple personality disorder, others believe she's schizophrenic. Mostly, I think she just needs dance lessons.

Aren't you that mother, that almost lost her daughters, because you were neglecting them, not sending them to school while you were living in Michigan?
Didn't you then return to North Carolina to live with your ex-mother in law and your son, while you left the daughters to live with their father in Detroit, a gambler and alcoholic?
And what about the house and estate your mother left behind?
