i said another game that had a big mod bias and picked on certain players. there was no rule to that effect. in fact the rules specifically stated that town forums was the jurisdiction of the players of a town. soon after i left the game petered out because I was not the first victim. but to answer you my problem is that its run in an unprofessional manner. as soon as its a small group that never changes its no longer run in a professional manner. only "constructive criticism " is allowed. who died and made mittekemuis queen? if you want to benefit the community run it in an above board manner, not something that is ripe for abuse and exploitation.

i was one of the key players in that community! damnit i shared all my inventory with most players to help them accomplish a goal. how daft are you that you would think such a player is working against the community. and the last bit is that i played the game since day 1. but they were experiencing player losses and decided to appoint arrogant people to "help " the community. a key element of that game is not played anymore. in fact their so called community is barely hanging on. admins who dont play the game dont understand the "community or the game"

In your other comment you ask "who died and made mittekemuis queen?". The foundation died, is basically what happened, it entered a slumber during which, and I didn't read you complain about that, the board didn't change (nor did it do anything).

Mitte has been trying for the past months to resurrect it by getting together a team she believes will be active enough to take on the task. All of the above has been discussed and approved with erep staff. You also seem to believe the board won't ever change, which is wrong, we just want to make the board transition a lot less violent.

Before when the board changed only Adinushk would stay in it and it would take at least a week if not more to get the new board up to speed. It was originally my idea to keep board members on for longer time periods and only transition a small part of the board at a time, as to not lose the experience and know how every single months, which in my opinion was the biggest factor for the failure it ended up in.

You are also "accusing" us of all being friends, and yes, I do get along well with the people on the board and that is by design. We're trying to get something started, and having internal disputes for external reasons doesn't seem productive. That said once we've got the system solidly in place introducing new members will of course be a must.

So yes, I understand your fears in regards to having a secretive board that doesn't change, but I'd like for you to at least give a chance to the project instead of shutting it down without knowing how hard it was to even get going in the first place.

it died because it was not run in a representative manner. making it less representative solves nothing. for example name one eirish citizen that was on the board. i in a small country with 40 citizens i made a proposal to award any article written with a certain tag. usually we dont get much traction in our articles but 1 to 5 members of my community might have participated. yes the normal 4 or 5 people voted the article but they shot it down because it was not a top article . so thereby my community was excluded. perhaps if you allowed it the next guy would have made a proposal that have gotten all 40 players in erepublik involved. but you chose to set the bar so high that only big country players can participate.

for example Muy Caliente proposed a food giveaway. his proposal was that in in several articles food would be distributed which would be shouted throughout the eWorld. You shot it down because in your opinion he did not clearly set out how it was going to work. player is obviously not english. its easily deductible how he proposed doing it. in fact it was 1 paragraph after the confusing paragraph. you all stopped reading there and denied him the sponsorship. 22 people endorsed the article 140 voted . the community was involved the community was denied. one of the board members then was the very same mittekemuis. who worked there for a month. should i continue exposing your obvious flaws?

another example me and nocarrier are both nearing 1500 articles a massive feat . i proposed to gucio or someone like that a gold endorsement of our 1000th article. it was denied because in her words its not quantity that matters but quality implying that in 1000 articles i wrote drivel. need i continue?

I think your general issue is that your project didn't get supported, and you seem to be highly offended by that. I'm sorry to say, but majority of the statements you've made in this article are fairly wrong to what it actually is.

@Gucio, with all his whining about what is wrong, he ignores one universal truth, it is NOT OK to falsely accuse others. He claims I am a multi because it fits his narrative, but the truth is, I am not a multi. If he chooses not to make a public apology (his accusations are public) he should receive forfeit points in a just game.

not really i didnt really have a problem with that. irish population was in a very inactive phase then. i couldnt even fill ministerial positions then. my initial problem was with that highlighted section where you narrow your board and increase their term. i just think it can lead to abuse.

but as i investigated this for my comments i picked up several other problems. 1 there was a gap of about 20 weeks where there was no article. 2. you denied certain applicants. ok this is monopoly money so i couldnt see in some cases why you didnt not just give some people the benefit of the doubt? for example muy caliente clearly stated he would distribute it via his newspaper you denied him because you could not figure out how he proposed distributing the amount. which showed in my opinion extreme laziness. it was almost like you read to a certain point in his article saw a reason to deny him and then stopped reading. in most of your articles you denied people.

Corruption is all around

I am sorry you feel this way, honestly, and I am sorry that your project got rejected.

Truth is that for the past few months there was little to no activity in the PF as there were hardly any projects submitted. Or, when we had a project or two submitted over the course of one or two months (I'm saying this because there were months with no projects submitted whatsoever), it made little sense to change the board members. They hadn't expressed their votes so why would they need to be changed? 7 projects have been submitted between December-May, as opposed to 13 in June 2017 - do you personally think that we should have changed the board every month since then? Is this what makes you scream "corruption"?

Mitte was as disappointed with the low activity as I was and she took the initiative to do something and effect a change. This is the kind of proactive attitude we should see more from the community. Mixliarder and Sollam wanted to join the board - they expressed their wish and they were accepted into the team.

I honestly appreciate your article - while I could do without the accusations, it clearly shows that you care enough to spend your energy and time on the subject and I personally appreciate it. Maybe you can put this energy into a new project. I know you are going to say that you have been denied a sponsorship, but I know you - you're not the person to give up after one try or to let others tell you what to do. Your newspaper has over 1000 articles and this number was reached a while ago. You asked for a Gold endorsement and while you weren't endorsed when you asked, you were endorsed later when you came up with a great piece. Your greatest quality is that you care and you aren't afraid to speak up. Use that. I can't promise your next project will be endorsed but with your persistence, I am sure you will come up with something good.

i just dont think players need to be high profile to be in that board. as admin you know that elitism is not really in the spirit of a game. i dont necessarily mean myself but the most activity is found in new players. so just open it to all . you can add high profile players but i dont think your whole board should consist of them. aint low activity because most people have not been in certain situations. most people dont express themselves in congress etc or articles this leads to generally more low activity elsewhere. its called throwing them in at the deep end. sink or swim. in most professions this is a common practice. most people in my profession who were not thrown into the deep end have never developed the courage to do some actions in their jobs.

I see what you mean. However, I think there is a misunderstanding here, maybe due to a poor choice of words. By high-profile players we were referring to players involved in the community, not necessarily old players or strong players or political leaders etc. We've had Feynmann who, even though was a new Citizen, younger than maybe half a year, managed to make a name for himself by publishing tutorials, articles and getting involved in the community via the Media and then Political Module. What we are looking for is mainly involved Citizens who are willing to put in the effort for the community's sake. As I mentioned before, we also accepted Citizens who proposed themselves, so the circle isn't closed. Sure, we said that we'd choose new members from the board's proposals, but that's mostly because we are looking for the community's choices; we didn't want the proposals to be restricted to Citizens only admins know of. Also, we wanted to open it up for Citizens of different nationalities, who might not be as popular internationally but who are known in their smaller communities. I hope that makes sense. If you know such people, by all means, tell us more about them and we will consider them for the next board, provided they are interested in the project.
