I call this irony, (my thoughts on the UK)

After observing recent events involving the UK and everyone’s favorite evil empire PEACE, I’ve been thinking about different ways we could punish the UK after we’ve defeated PEACE on all fronts and won the war. After conversing with several members from my political party one of the congressmen from our party, Robert Bayer, suggested that we buy out all of the United Kingdom’s major corporations and crucial raw materials. He then suggested that after we have taken over the nation economically we should then invade and take the region for ourselves. I thought this was a great idea but lacking in originality and fun. Instead of taking the UK economically and then by force why don’t we interject a period of colonization into the mix?
That’s right I am suggesting that the USA turns Great Britain into our very own colony. Oh, how the tides have turned. This bit of irony would make for a very interesting eWorld and we could even have a little fun with our new vassal state. Bayer suggested that we should instate new taxes on The UK (without her approval) and drain the funds from their coffers. Of course we would eventually relinquish control of the UK but not before we’ve drained those blood suckers dry. The only downside to the whole plan is that we already know the ending….
The UK will eventually unite under a common cause sending President Richardson a letter announcing their freedom. One signer of said letter would even write his signature so large that Richardson would be able to read it without the use of his contacts!!!!one!!!!1!! The following war would eventually lead us to care less about our British colony as we are at war with our pesky neighbors, The Canadians.

I disagree. I believe eUK shouldn't be treated like that. We should give them the benefit of the doubt, or at least speak with their leaders: tell them that we will be forced to attack eUK when this war is over if they don't stop making peace with PEACE. If they refuse to stop...then we should suck them dry. At least, I feel this would be the best way to go.
Our leaders have already contacted them, they believe that consorting with PEACE is in the best interest of their country. They seem pretty far gone to me.
I'm not a fan of our government officials talking carelessly about invading a sovereign nation like the eUK. Ultimately, however, the citizens of that country must be responsible for their country and choose whether or not to keep their PEACE loving government officials in office or ensure they aren't re-elected and take the other path. If they choose PEACE, we simply can't be friends, though any plans of invasions, economical destruction, PTO's, etc., should not be publicly broadcasted by our elected officials and high ranking members until such a time actually comes.
I really can't say this is anything close to a good idea from any standpoint.
If they really want to join PEACE, let them. You don't have to be happy about it, I know I wouldn't be. But it is their choice, and it's only a month till the next elections if the people of the UK are really upset about it they can change things.
Besides, there's a long war just starting. It's a little early to be plotting vengeance on a country that hasn't attacked us yet.
@Tyler. To true sir. But this article is kinda pointing out in a joking manner what would happen if we made such an action.
You are right the only real way to assimilate a country is to take it over with their permission. I.E. the way PEACE GC is doing so now.. we can all agree the problem is they are doing so in a bullying way, and are not looking out for the best interests of the country they are occupying!

So you would like to take the UK congress, impose big taxes, and send the money to yourself? What is the difference between that and a PTO? I am not saying it isn't good, but it isn't any more original then the other ways "to punish" that you descrbie.
The war will never end though. If the US gets into a dominating period, you will feel the same bordom PEACE has felt in the last month and will keep on attacking. This is a game.

Against a country that did not attack you. But when we did it in Croatia ( a country that did the same to Serbia ) We were the big evil PEACE.
So you see its just a game. The player isint bad just becouse he made a touchdown by turning from the defender.
But first you should win the war dont you think? This war will be going for weeks. I assume it will be at least 1 month or even more.

You have tried to invade Mexico, Canada, France and Portugal. You had been defeated in all of these wars. Why do you think, that you would be able to invade the UK which is now also protected by PEACE GC?
