Introduction

As I write this fairly "last minute" we are yet to see any manifestos from our Country Presidential candidates so it was rather imperative I changed this. I had meant to post this a little sooner however we have had a couple of eventful and situation changing days.





Manifesto

My Manifesto will have three main strands, Player Support, Government Communication and Foreign, Defence and Financial Affairs. My platform will largely be supported by the notion of stability and growth in our policy and support projects.

Player Support

If you look, the eUK has a wide range of player support guidance and schemes. Here are a few I’d like to keep a Government focus on

UK Tutorial

A reminder of the fantastic UK Tutorial mainly for new players however useful for all. This remains a valuable resource to keep in our collective memories.

'Help to Buy' a Q1 House scheme

All UK citizens should be using a Q1 house as currently, you should gain extra currency across the 7 days the house is active from working overtime, the house will allow you to regenerate energy quicker, and also boosts the total energy you can hold.

If you cannot afford a Q1 house you will be able to contact my Government to see what support you could receive

Training Ground Loan Scheme

Upgrading your strength buildings is the best way to earn income as it allows you to receive Super Soldier medals much quicker. A Q4 Weights Room & Q4 Climbing Center (without any contract training) earns the most money of any training/contract combination. Together they will earn you 13.38g/month (0.446g/day) after you pay the daily training.

If you need a Training Ground loan (usually between 10 Gold and 30 Gold) you will be able to seek support from my Government

Bank of England Monetary Market Trust

As a reminder, the Ministry of Finance is taking advantage of the gold price on the monetary market by operating a Bank of England Trust for citizens and allies to invest in.

Eight citizens have invested into the Trust. The MoF place monetary market offers from a number of eUK Government Organisation reserved for use by the Bank of England. The monetary market profits have been agreed to be split 60% to the citizen and the remaining 40% for the Treasury to reinvest/store in reserves.

Royal Airforce (RAF)

I plan to continue to uphold past Government’s commitments to supplying our National Military Unit to help it achieve its goals of greater UK military coordination and player military strength growth.

Player Groups / Party / Military Unit support schemes

The list above is not definitive, so if there is a scheme you and your friends, your political party or your Military Unit have which support new and old players which you would like to see operate on a national scale and receive some Government funding.

Government Communication

National Feed Shouts, In-game PMs, Discord, Telegram

Discord

Communication channels for the coordination of our British Armed Forces will be re-established.

I will establish an in-game message involving UK MU commanders, 2nd Commanders to coordinate UK damage for the UK and her allies. UK fighters can also ask to be included in this message to ask questions, seek guidance and help about how best to coordinate your damage with other UK fighters.

I will once again use a Discord server. The British Armed Forces Coordination - Discord Server

The server channel structure is fairly simple;

Three "Command" channels where with permissions can post orders and links and those confirmed as UK fighters can check where you should be directing your damage in ground battles and aircraft battles for the UK or her allies and where to start resistance wars.

A general channel where UK fighters can post to ask questions, seek guidance and help about how best to coordinate your damage with other UK fighters

I've set-up an #epic channel to, if you'd like to be added to groups to receive direct notification of epics battles starting just let me know and I'll add you to the correct division or the maverick group (for all divisions)

I've added a #bot-chat channel similar to other Erep discord servers that you can use "! help" to find out all the useful information you can ask the Socrates bot to provide you, like when Resistance Here battles can be started or where the cheapest Q1 houses or Q7 Weapons .etc can be found in the world

Please note until you are confirmed as a UK fighter your visibility of the server will be limited. (Just involves me spotting you’ve joined and assign you the correct roles.

Telegram

We have Telegram Group where you can check where you should be directing your damage in ground battles and aircraft battles for the UK or her allies. You can also ask questions, seek guidance and help about how best to coordinate your damage with other UK fighters. Click this link to join the British Armed Forces Command Group

Finally the communication channels above will be used in conjunction with national wall feed shouts.

Foreign, Defence and Financial Affair

UK Training Wars / International Position

We are in a position of transition as Chile and Hungary (Montenegro in situ) depart, never a situation we invited however one that did eventually turn into useful and well run training wars where eUK tax revenue was returned and our leaders worked in a co-operative spirit which deserves thanks for at later part of their presence here.

Prior to these we did hold agreed training wars with Bulgaria and Macedonia (and Romania in situ). I’ll look forward to making increased contact with Bulgaria, Peru, United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands to discuss the future of the UK however as they arrive as our announced liberators and some we know well and consider friends. I feel UK interest will be preserved and will strive to ensure they are.

UK's interest in my mind are

Scotland, London and Yorkshire and Humberside - not occupied by a nation in direct conflict (i.e. part of a training war) or occupied by a nation with worse productivity bonus. So UK company owners productivity is not prevent or diminished.

A “free” / “UK held” North East of England, so we may continue to honour of Resource Concession agreement with Spain

I feel we can be very optimistic about our future.

Monetary Market

Maintain the Bank of England Monetary Market Trust and Government Monetary Market Activity - As a reminder, the Ministry of Finance is taking advantage of the gold price on the monetary market by operating a Bank of England Trust for citizens and allies to invest in and using national organisation using only Government funds. I'll try and get an update on the recent profitability of both schemes out soon.



People's Cabinet

Country President Office taking a direct overview of Defence, Foreign Affairs and Finance

I will have a small team of citizens who will hold some of the ingame positions to administer the basics of Government and ensure we are well represented on the international stage, meet the expectations of Government held by the UK citizenry.

Ministry of Defense

I will consult regularly with the Commanders, 2nd Commanders and Captains of the top MUs in the UK and with all UK fighters via the British Armed Forces Coordination Channels.

Better cooperation and collaboration between us all will be the order of the term.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Direct matters of Foreign Affairs will be handled by myself and my team in the Country Presidency Office however what the UK is lacking is a regular dose of informative articles about the latest global situations.

WIth the option of a nation of experts with articles published by anyone in the Foreign Office newspaper via submission to me.

Rewards of 100GBP to 10,000GBP are on offer for top quality articles plus I'll send all endorsements received for the article to the authour.

I'm also happy to be included into any group messages any citizen may hold with their foreign contacts which have neglected the need for a specific MoFA at times in the past so why not make this more apparent. From these group messages, we can then take ideas and suggestions to Congress for approval.

Once again we all can become our own educators with articles published by anyone in the Home Affairs or Department of Work newspaper via submission to me.

My aim with the People's Cabinet is to expand the network of citizens who collaborate on matters of defence, foreign affairs and education. Let's spread the work beyond a handful of individuals who happen to have a "title" or "position of power" and find popular leaders or opinion makers amongst our citizenry via increased activity in our media and with Congress.
