Howdy Partner

Day 3,459, 16:30 Published in Belgium United Kingdom by Dishmcds
Hello Belgium,

I just wanted to pop in and say hello, and see if there was anything you'd like to ask of us, the United Kingdom as we look towards a possible future together. I know that for some, it might seem appealing, and for some, it might not.

As a very old player, there is actually some history there, and it's not all "meta", as someone here would say. There are plenty of game mechanics and benefits and things to do that make it worthwhile. Back in "the old days", the UK and Belgium were actually quite the happy union, and there were both communal benefits, as well as in game benefits.

For starters, let's be realistic about what we are. Belgium is one of the smallest nations in the world in this game, and I won't pretend to know how much money you might have stashed, but rumor would have it there's not much. This makes it difficult to afford MPPs, which makes it difficult to be completely independent. That's kind of a double edged sword, so to speak.

The UK is not the biggest, baddest country either, but we do have money for MPPs, and we do have more resources which offers you better production. If we combine the two, with an even greater production bonus, it would benefit us both. You'd also end up with free citizenship, more involvement, and a bigger community (just in case you forgot that this game is based on volume). We're trying to recharge our country, and it could really do us both some good things on "in game" levels.

Now, to the meat of the argument, what some would call "the meta game" we seem to enjoy. To break this down, this is nothing more than all of us actually trying to promote the community. There's still in game Congress (senators), Ministers (Praetors), and so on, simply with different names. The Senate concept allows us to be more open so, essentially, any citizen with the desire to get involved can. You just show up. We're on Discord, we have forums (still being revamped), and we like to talk and have fun.

So, if you'd like to know anything, please feel free to ask. I'll be around, and I'd love to hear what you have to say. I have seen the greatest cooperation between our nations exist before, and very successfully for a long time (prior to a forced divorce via the American invasion in 2009), and I would hope to look forward to a long and prosperous future together.

Regards,
