Ok, so this may seem simple, but if you think about it, it could under the right conditions, actualy work. So say eCanada has a group of members suplied with funds, for what you say, to buy Cobras so called"info". They bid with the funds and well thats how it works. Say even have some double agents in cobra working on it. This is my point of view but it could work. Given that they rerally do have "eCanadian secrets".

The best idea is to ignore, cobra's efforts are aimed at disrupting the term of office of Jacobi, AB has stated he wishes no harm to ecanada. In his unique view of the world he is trying to help by ridding us of Jacobi. Of course I may be wrong but that's my take on things and if I am wrong the best course of action remains the same just ignore.

yes all of what you have said is probably true, but there is one question that must be asked, what if, and there should be something taken as precausions incase the "what if" comes true
