As you may have noticed i became less active the last days on the forum and on IRC.

I was minister of eBelgian Affairs last month (well, i quit for 3 days ) and i was the one responsible for the proposal to eBelgium

When i quited my job as minister of eBelgian Affairs i was really done with politics, but after a good talk with PM Flando i came back as minister. As you can read, there were some rules for my return. Those rules were accepted by everyone in government.

Government and the proposal

I believe we have good ministers in the government. Each one does their best for his/her ministry. But also we have some ministers who think they can "help" another ministry by doing things without informing the minister of the department.
This happened a couple of times when i was the minister of eBelgian affairs. I have spoken to the minister who "helped" me and i have told him repeatedly that he should inform me when he was doing things which concerned my ministry. He said he would do that.

When the proposal was accepted by eBelgium and the eUNL, there was 1 thing to do for the eUNL. Donate 50 gold to the eBelgian State account, which was mentioned in the proposal.
Shouldn't be too difficult i think.

But no, instead of following the eUNL congress decision and therefore the proposal i made someone thought, after talking with some eBelgians, it would be better to donate it to NBB-BNB

So he/she neglected the vote of the eUNL congress and listened to the eBelgians where they wanted the gold. And he/she forget to tell the minister of eBelgian affairs that he donated it to NBB-BNB.

For me his/her last action was "de druppel", when in government ministers should talk to eachother when they get on another ministers responsibility.

I had a great time in government, but when other ministers (after talking with them) keep interfering and make decissions for the minister, well i think i can do 2 things.

1. leave government
2. stay in government and don't ask for a new government job.

I have decided to take the second option and i have also decided that i wont do any government job in the next months. For me the fun is gone.

You are totally right Deviltje, it happens to much that ministers have a opinion about another minsitery. They should focus on their own minsitery.

i know i have made that mistake.
its sad that this mistake of mine is costing the unl an good minister.
i hope we will see u in politics any time soon.
