Good day Belgium,
Today is a sad day, the PTO'ers or "the opposition" as they called themselves have won the president election. This would not be a bad thing only thing if they won the election early but this election was not won fair but these elections where not won fair, what is even worse is that the admins refuse to do their job and do the checks they claim they are doing even though I raised the issue in two separate tickets seeing. I did not get a reply on my first ticket and because this is time sensitive I raised a second ticket but I only get a standard answer that they appreciate your help and will check this issue.
Besides the obvious cheating another thing the "opposition" president candidate did was slandering. The "opposition" president Aries Sun made an article claiming I stole money. The claim was based without facts to back it up and this was pretty quickly refuted by an article by an article by Icurlybear which showed the actual facts and there was proof that I did not steal the money but Icurlybear moved the money from the organizations to the country account. After the proof was posted Aries Sun was quiet no answer at all while an apology would be in place seeing he made false accusations. Sadly this is the standard modus operandi from the opposition and I am not expecting an apology but you expect a higher standard from somebody who is the president and who is supposed to represent the whole country, not just his faction. Also buying votes does not make your article truer. You had to buy votes because you would not get enough votes.
Coming back to the election, that there was cheating involved was very obvious if you look at the numbers here are the facts
- Huge number of account suddenly coming back from the dead
- Almost 50% more votes total
- "Opposition" votes was double that of previous elections
- Two candidates switched who was winning never more then 2 votes difference but suddenly Aries was 7 votes ahead.
It's obvious there was cheating going on, in a game that is dying and the number of voters has been going down for years and suddenly the number of votes goes up this significantly without any sort of baby boom. The admins did not bother to intervene and do a multi check and so Aries won the election, I am not going to congratulate you because you did not deserve to win, your win was tainted and not won fair and square. If you win by multi's the title PTO'er and PTO'ers for your group is well earned.

Who says they don't? People "waking up" or re-entering a nation happens all the time among certain groups off players. Just like players mingling in a nations politics while not being part of it and hopping in if a few friends need them for whatever reason.

If old accounts are brought back to life, perhaps he really managed to activate these players by contacting them somehow? It is very hard to prove they are multies, unless they are all controlled from a very small amount of ips.
As proving multies is so hard, I guess the admins cannot accept your claims either, just like the theft story had insuffient evidence (and apparently was a big lie).
There is no way of contacting them. And suddenly 50% more votes and opposition having double the votes the previous elections is more than enough evidence for it at least to be suspect. The slander against me had no fact this actually has fact. You are naive to think this can me legit.
I don't believe they're all magically back from the dead. And indeed it may be very hard to contact them, unless e.g. they're people that quit because they felt oppressed by the government, and intentionally left contact information for a day they would have their revenge...
For the admins the issue is that they cannot on an individual basis judge people for being multies, unless they share ips or are part of a recent baby boom or something. If none of these players individually is ruled to be a multi, why would they change the outcome of the elections. None of the votes is seemingly worth less than the others...
I agree it is very suspicious but it's hard to deal with it...

Okay, let's start from scratch. Do you actually have any proof that the country wasn't checked and the matter has been ignored?
Seems pretty obvious to me, we're doing check ourselves as far as we can about accounts that were just brought to live to vote
I think emotions might be taking the upper hand here. However, there is no denying that this situation is very much suspicious, especially considering statistical evidence. Looking back to September of 2015, the candidates of side 1 usually received around 30 votes, while candidates of side 2 received around 15-20 votes. There was no significant babyboom during that entire year and suddenly, from one month to another, the candidate of side 2 gets 36 votes, more than double of what was previously recorded over the span of 1 year.
Were multi accounts involved, maybe, maybe not, but this whole situation is very much suspicious.
Well I don't really see anything in an obvious way if you honestly ask me. As much as it may seem strange or suspicious, it does not necessarily mean that it is illegal. All elections are thoroughly checked for multiple accounts, if any are detected the votes do get removed. I know it may be hard to accept with the fact that opposition have won, I mean I've been in Switzerland a few years ago and the situation was quite similar. But in this case I'm sorry to say there is no reason or justification to blame admins or Plato, as there was nothing that was missed from our side.
The fact that the admins set the bar so high for taking action on multis is the problem.
No longer having the staffers who gave a shit about the community doesn't help either.
Its not like the admin bans every multiaccount, i belive most of the community could point quite a few multiaccounts that admins make blind eyes to...

C'mon man, I'm sure you will win the elections next month, but isn't this many years (real f years) in a row enough? People went to sleep, they are maybe sick of the same all things every month. They voted for a different man.
