You people speak of corruption. You speak of greed, of selfishness, of apathy, and of stupidity. You speak of rebellion. You direct your hatred towards one George Lemnaru and one Alexis Bonte, both men so handsome I have fifteen foot tall marble statues of them guarding the entrance to my winter palace. Whilst taking in the crisp night air from my balcony, listening to the soft swells of enchanted music and the softer breaths of my beautiful wife, I often think of them, alone but together, making my haven a better place for me, and all who visit.

It is with this in mind that I have come to peace with the eRepublik administration. I will first of all offer you the simple explanation. They own the servers, they can do whatever the hell they like with them. They have absolutely no contractual obligation to us and could shut the servers down before you've time to read this article and no-one outside this game would give a damn. However, I offer you a counter proposal; celebrate what they've done right.

The game is fun and satisfies everything that I ask from a browser game. What more could I want? Y'all rebellin' is silly.

I have kind of grown to like all of the bizarre, random, and unexpected changes. I look at it as a way to apply problem solving skills and see it as a challenge.
