The House sector in our little eWonderland is bad. Currently only 2 houses are offered in the market both over priced and Q1. Why isn't there a Q2 or Q3 or Q4 or Q5 there?
Well, that's for you to find out and tell me. Post your ways to fix the House sector.
Best solution and post ( Even if the solution isn't that good but it was a nice response) wins a free Q1 house which nobody wants to buy.

Since we clearly can't produce the items ourselfs, it's time to lower the import tax on housing sector, something the last government wasn't keen to accept because they themself owned a house company.
99% income tax with only 2-3 active housing companies means that the few companies we have can put up their items for whatever price they want since they do not have any competition. And there won't be many offers out with that high income tax, since we don't have an active housing sector.

One should expect some cheap houses with only 1% VAT and wages 70% lower than land and manufacturing ... mhhh.
Money is the problem. Why should someone new work as a constructor for 1DM/day if he could get 3DM/day? And the time..yeah..no money->no workers->too much time to be build.
Since my beginning some weeks ago I`m still working at the same Q1 defensive system..1/4 done since only 2 of our 5 workers are really working..and i got the highest skill.
It`s too sad to laugh..
A q2 house will be offert soon, but our wages and the high rawmaterialprices will diktate the price. Sorry

Players need only one house. When they get their second one, they'll probably donate the lower Q house to someone (just like you are doing). Houses aren't consumed so there's only need for as many houses as there are players. Considering that, house-building business is very risky.
I'd suggest a government-funded house factory (preferably high-Q) which hires new, low-wellness or otherwise "troublesome" players. Or just a normal company funded by government. It's not cheap but I'm sure there are buyers for high-Q houses. Governments have the time and the money for such a company.
I recently imported 3 Q3 houses for two friends and myself from Brazil (moved there, got money for gold, bought them and moved back). It was freaking expensive (15-20 gold per house), but health shouldn't be an issue anymore for me.
