Holland wins world championship baseball

They were the first European country that reached the semi-finals, now they won the championship. Cuba was the losing finalist.

Holland won already against Cuba in the group stages, but a final is always something else. Not a very high score: 2-1, which shows the difficulty of the game. The weather conditions were bad, so this had a big influence on the result.

25 times Cuba won the title, but this year Holland claimed their first. The third place battle between USA and Canada is postponed due to the bad weather.
