Well, Operation Gangnam Style is looking to be a success! We are beating back Taiwan and Japan and South Korea will soon be liberated!
... Wait, what? We want to liberate South Korea, as in, the South Korea that attacked us along with Taiwan? We want to give our enemies more land? To me, that sounds like defending the Soviet Union against Germany in WWII. Sure, you stopped one enemy, but you're propping up another. The only obvious deterrent would be to purge the government of enemy officials and instead replace them with a loyal president. What would we call that if someone did it here?
A PTO. Honestly, I'm surprised more people aren't complaining about this. Obviously, I must be missing something. Someone, please enlighten me!

South Korea attacked us so that we could gain a border with RoC (Taiwan.)
See, in game mechanics once you NE someone, they're your NE for 7 days or until they're wiped. Since we wanted to get at RoC but SK was blocking us, SK's territory had to be controlled either by the RoC or America.
The reason why SK Ned us is because..
1. When you NE someone with common MPPs, the agressor loses all MPPs the two nations have in common. Since America was going to be actively involved in combat, it was wise that SK lose its MPPs instead.
A fear was that if America takes the SK territory VIA NE, RoC will Resistance War another one, thus prolonging our declaration of war against SK. And as mentioned above, we'd have none of our common MPPs. (Mutual Protection Pacts that allow our allies to fight for us)
Since our NE will be prolonged, the RoC will NE us and they will have the "initiative." When you have the initiative, you get to choose when and where the first attack happens. So, the RoC could practically attack us in our sleep. Hence why we wanted to have the initiative.
Aside- An NE also provides an extra 10% damage to all your hits.
Fair enough, but then why does SK continue to attack us? From what I can tell, we already have a border with Taiwan. Wouldn't it be pointless for SK to continue attacking?

if you fight in those wars you will see that there are no sk ifghting agains us, most of the one fighting for them is taiwan
Like brad said, most SKers aren't even participating in battles against us.
SK has attacked us multiple times, that is true. However the "RWs" are launched by RoC soldiers. Since a RW can be started by anyone, the South Korean Government has no control over what is RWed and what isn't.
As for the direct attacks, the most recent one was launched since OP-Gangnam Style failed after a string of losses following a failed attack on the Taiwanese Capital. Since the RoC had pushed us out of Korea, they RWed the border territory back to SK. (Thus cancelling our NE, and ending the war)
SK has attacked again to restart the OP, and get us back into Korea. Just like last time, the main plan will be for SK to attack an American territory, and we auto-attack the border land that is owned by them. And just like last time as well, the RoC has recaptured that border land, reestablishing our border.
So yes- We do have a border.
But this was because the RoC attacked SK, following SK's NE on us.
But, thanks to the AFA, we can't get a proper NE on the RoC (They used an NE proposal against Serbia, an enemy we are not planning on fighting. Only one NE can be launched at a time. So for a few hours, we will border the RoC and not be able to NE them.
So they will have the intiative, and quite possibly crush us because of timezones
Our self destructive PTOers have struck again.
While I do not quite believe them to be all PTOers, it is unbelievable that the AFA is preventing us from getting the initiative.

They proposed a rogue NE, and now we all pay for it. I mean, everyone knows we're not going to fight Serbia. And even then, it was proposed by a Serbian-MU member; Further showing that he was just trying to mess us up.
Not to mention that the majority of their players come from enemy nations, don't fight for America, refuse to cooperate like some other groups (Bosnians, now Romanians..etc) into joining America society, let in enemies only to bolster their own numbers..etc
The wrongs the AFA have done are numerous. And this is coming from someone who has never held a gov position before. (Besides writing for WHPR)
We may be able to win back the intiative (have to). But still, this whole process could have been much less painful if the AFA would stop trying to hurt our nation for a second.
