Herr Vootsman for Ohio

Day 1,247, 19:37 Published in USA USA by Herr Vootsman

In response to all the conflict and confusion between Congress and the Military, I've decided to run for Congress in Ohio (under the UIP).

Why Ohio? That's where Eugene Harlot was born.

Why the UIP? They're awesome and I was already in the party for ATO purposes.

Why Me? (in no specific order, all of these are true, except for one)
I have a sweet mullet
I curently work as a Neurosurgeon
I used to do Rocket Science (Physics)
I was Secretary of the Interior for a few months
I was Deputy Secretary of State
I was Deputy Secretary of Technology
I've been a QM in the Mobile Infantry for over a year
I was a Congressman last fall (on accident)

My Platform:
Domestically, we need to work on gaining and retaining new players. This is what will make eUSA strong.
I want to increase funding to Arm America. Likewise, I want to ensure that military groups that primarily handle new players (BootCamp, Training Corps) are given sufficient funding.
We need to advertise to the real world and recruit new players to eUSA.

Economically, we need to adapt to the changing economy and increasing admin intervention. I will work with the economic people to determine if our income taxes are too high, or our VAT/Import taxes too low. As a long time business owner (three Q5 companies, thirteen RM companies), I have an excellent understanding of how money flows in our economy.

Militarily, we need to address the schism between the JCS and Congress. I think the new eUS Armed Forces are an excellent addition to eUSA, and think they will be an excellent option for many players. Of course, as a long time member of the Mobile Infantry, I also think the JCS is an important part of the eUSA Community. I'll continue to work on finding an amicable solution to this problem, where the JCS provide the needed transparency (for both budget planning and battle planning) to Congress and the President/Department of Defense.

iNCitarily, we need to realize that as citizens and tax payers in eUSA, excluding them from Governmental funding is unfair.
