Here We Go

Day 528, 14:40 Published in USA Romania by James Strife

So here I go for my first article… I got into this game by a buddy of mine at school and I am absolutely in awe of all of the possibilities that are presented in the game. I have particularly taken a keen interest in the level of control you can use to influence your nation, the economy, the geography of eRepublik and even the people you get to coexist with.

But first, my beginnings… I first joined intrigued by the simplicity of the game or better known as “two clicking”. A game where you could progress with minimal effort seemed like my kind of game a few weeks ago when I was bogged down with crazy English reports. I got a job and realized that I my wellness was getting into the 20s… Low and behold to find out that I had a Q2 job. I researched the whole wellness stat on the wonderful and insightful wiki page and quickly resigned and got a Q1 job.

I’ve been continually excited about the wide range of possibilities available in this game, and I rapidly found myself financially stable and helping friends with the game. One of things that helped me the most was the very convenient and direct advice for the new citizens of eUSA, the Welcome Message. The Welcome Message includes the MoW (Meals on Wheels) program headed up by AidenAstrup and his very productive assistant SirEkim, the forums for the gift exchange, and several other programs that helped me to get immersed in the great community of the eUSA.

MoW, in particular, has helped me around the noob block to the point that I now can actually donate back into MoW to replace the food they so graciously gave me in my earlier days. MoW provided food that allowed me to shift my expenditures towards moving to New Jersey so I could gain more experience quicker and help some of my other buddies by passing them some extra money or food of my own.

I started talking to scrabman in my earlier days and he linked me to some articles and some wikipages that I found strikingly helpful. And I shall pass them on to help others who are new and upcoming.
