Heraklion & Ankara Mayorships

Greetings All!

I am still on ye old honeymoon, but I wanted to take some time out of my day to write to you. Saturday is the last mayoral race in eRepublik's near future. I am running for the Mayor of Heraklion, and my darling husband tekyoldevrim is running for the Mayor of Ankara. I am urging you to vote for us for one main reason: we have shown that we can sustain a bipartisan relationship (he is MHC, and I am ABK). A Timely Bitch is endorsing Ruzgarli for Alexandroupoli Mayor (who is not being opposed by ABK in this election), Giray Garrsicus for Tripoli Mayor, and michagan for Haifa Mayor. I feel that this last Mayoral race is a place where we can set a precedent. We as a country can choose to take a step toward unity before the next presidential elections. I urge you all to vote across party lines. Take time to step across the aisle and meet your neighbors. Who knows, maybe love reaches across that aisle and touches you too.
