BREAKING NEWS FROM THE AMP DEPARTMENT OF FUN!

Our Team Trivia Night last weekend was a roaring success! We had four highly-competitive teams playing 100 rounds of rapid-fire IRC trivia! I probably cannot actually list the winning team’s name or I’ll get forfeit points for vulgarity, but they charged to victory led by Neo Iasov, with assistance from Smack and Jennifer Mo.

We then transitioned into a Nutsybolts tournament, where Rivere cheated for a while and then was eventually defeated by Mister Y. Just kidding, Rivere didn’t cheat, but he is SUPER lucky.

We gave out 1000 USD, 100+ tanks, and over 600 food! Yea - if you weren’t there, you missed out!!! Don't worry, we have more opportunities for you to win...

PLANS FOR THIS WEEK:

1) Holiday AMPlitude Raffle
This contest starts RIGHT NOW and runs through January 1st. How do you win? Here are ways to earn raffle tickets:

- You get between 1 and 5 'raffle tickets' every time an AMP Round Table member notices you actively participating in #AMP. The amount is up to the RT member’s discretion about how active and valuable your contributions are. The RT member will PM me with the recipient and amount of tickets he/she deserves, and I’ll add it to the running taly.
- I'm also going to randomly change my nick to holiday-related stuff over the break (Santa, ChristmasTree, Menorah, etc), and the first person to message me gets 10 tickets.
- After the New Year begins, I’ll stop adding tickets, run the raffle, and give out a MONSTER prize to make this all worthwhile.

2) Third Drawing Contest is coming down the pipes!
The drawing contest is an opportunity for people to channel their creative gifts into amusing and/or impressive works of art on a topic we choose for you. We’ll be giving out prizes for first AND second place in the form of dozens of tanks, so you should TUNE IN TO THE AMP FORUMS for more details! Maybe it will be an opportunity to draw Pfeiffer, or girl on girl action, you don’t know...

3) Israel Presley Impersonator Contest!
As a friendly salute to our outgoing Party President, we’ll be hosting an IRC contest where you change your nick for 60 seconds and give us your best Israel Stevens impersonation! ISRAEL is the judge though, so you’ll have to be clever and/or not too brazen if you want to win. The contest will be high risk, high reward, with prizes of cash and/or tanks! (Don’t worry, Cleveland, we’ll do one of these for you when you retire, too. Something to look forward to...)
