Handing over the Reigns

Day 559, 14:08 Published in Canada Canada by Bruck

Fellow Canadians, it has been my greatest honour to serve as your President for the last three months as the longest serving eCanadian president in the history of our nation. Over the course of my terms we as a nation have faced many trials and have always come together as a people to overcome and grow our nation to new heights. Canada is a power on this world stage and that is something we can all be proud of. I like to think that thanks to my efforts some of this success can be attributed to my efforts and that of my highly dedicated staff.

As far as Canada has come during my three terms I believe that my time as Prime Minister has come to a close, thus I will not be seeking reelection for a fourth term. I had made this decision not to run for a fourth term before the close of the third Presidential Elections, this is not for any other reason. As much as I enjoy taking on the leadership role of this great eNation there are real life issues I have put off for far too long (Ladies, roses or chocolates?).
Also, a special thanks to my Minister of Foreign Affairs Marcchelala who has served eCanada diligently for my entire three terms as President. He oversaw many negotiations and especially those lately with the alliance issue.
This speech is boring, how about a change of pace?

Top 8 things I’ll miss about being President

8. Receiving 15-20 PM’s per day
7. Stealing the ideas of others
6. Dealing with the people who hate you no matter what, even if it’s their idea I’m pushing
5. Skimming a little off the top (joking hah)
4. Having myself as Prime Minister
3. Knowing everything about everyone (That’s right Scorpius, I know it all)
2. Bring able to (diplomatically) tell off foreign leaders
1. Being blamed for everything

Right, where was I?

After three terms I think it’s safe to say I know what makes a good President and when I say that this term the Canadian Empire Party will be throwing it’s support behind Presidential Candidate Alexander Rearden you know it’s the right choice. That’s a shameless Plug if I ever saw one. However, I do feel that Mr. Rearden will make the best choice to represent eCanada as an experienced leader with the support of those that have also proven their knowledge and experience.

So with that I say my term as President is over but I do not intend to retire completely. I will always be eCanadian and eCanada will always be my home. Thank you for your support over the months!
