Hail to the Chief!

Day 1,902, 18:09 Published in USA USA by Mungo Monroe

Big elections tomorrow! The leader of our nation will be decided. Candor and John Killah are the two big names in this race. On one hand, Candor, supported by the AFA and others, is more 'fun' and expansionist. Killah, supported by the AMP and the Federalists, prefers closer alliances and 'War Against Boredom'. To get a better idea of who I will be voting for, I asked each of them one simple question:

If elected, what will you do to make America the sole superpower it should be?

Candor had a simple answer, but it was a pretty good solution.

I am the only candidate who is promising to do everything within my power to restore full resources to our nation and her people as quickly as can reasonably be accomplished. By doing so we will attract new citizens and businesses, and grow the strength and influence of our nation across the world.

Meanwhile, Killah was more pessimistic.

It is impossible to do so. In order to become a superpower, we'd need at LEAST another 8,000 citizens to be able to compete with the likes of Serbia and Poland. Even then, to beat them, we'd need to double or triple that number to another 16-24,000 citizens to be the sole superpower. Why is that impossible? We're lucky to get 200 new citizens a day, and that isn't matching the amount of people leaving the game daily. The game is too broke for people to care about it beyond the hardcore players.

However, Killah later added the following:

I do wish it was possible though, I'd love to see a US capable of taking on Serbia 1-on-1 ... If the game improves it's modules to good standards, then it could be very possible indeed.

As you can see, it will naturally be very hard, but both want to see it happen. It seems Candor will be actively pursuing it, while Killah will focus on other matters first. May the best man win!
