Háború

A háború első rohamai, a frenetikus szervezések és kiabálások, a mindegy hol, csak harcoljunk, a hova nézzek hirtelen, hisz mindenhonnan jönnek lassan elmúlt. Megtörtént a partraszállás, és a PEACE tag Franciaországot lerohanó Atlantiszi áradat habos tajtékot vetve Bretagne szikláin a partra fröcskölt. Túlestünk az első elkeseredésen is, hogy csak ennyi volt, hogy napok alatt foglalták el a kiszemelt területeiket a támadók, hogy úgy ütötték túl a falakat, hogy rossz volt nézni, s hogy ennyi volt a szövetség, ami olyan, amilyen, na de akkor is. Belenyugodtunk, hogy Frankhonnak befellegzett, és csak annyi marad meg belőle, amennyit a győztesek meghagynak, ha hagynak egyáltalán – s a kegyelem kenyere keserű szájízt ad, még ha nem vagyunk konkrét vesztesei e világháborúnak.

De az első nagy rohamok, az elkeseredés és a belenyugvás után váratlanul életre kelt a szövetség. Az eleve gyengélkedőbb atlantiszi tagországok orra alá dörgölt győzelmeket, a váratlan területvisszaszerzést utóbb egy igazi nagy lépés, a nagyhatalmi vágyálmokat dédelgető eUSA elleni győzelem követte, s immáron a másik nagy ellenfél ellen is lázad az elfoglalt Lorraine népe. A tetszhalottnak tűnő PEACE pedig egyéb gondjait legyűrni látszva egyre dobja át a csapatokat, a zsoldosokat és a harcias kedvű állampolgárokat, hiszen tudja, Franciaország eleste a szövetség végrángásait jelentené. A franciákat lehet szeretni vagy nem szeretni, de egyet meg kell hagyni, hogy a hazájukat védeni ők se hitványabbak bármely más nációnál – a hajdani testőrök, D’Artagnan utódai ma is szépen forgatják a kardot, s egyéb fegyvereiket.

De mi lesz a vége a háborúnak? A célja egyértelmű, a felhalmozott, megtermelt javakat hihetetlen iramban felégető harcok, a fel-, s alulértékelt valuták néha drasztikus rendbetétele, a harcosok gyakorlása és vérszomjuk, hatalomvágyuk kielégítése. S ezek mind meg is fognak történni a maguk rendje-módja szerint, ahogyan nemcsak a játék, de az élet törvényei is diktálják. Az igazi nagy kérdés itt a szövetségek jövője, a kialakult, de közel sem kőbe vésett két nagy államcsoport esetleges, sőt feltehetőleges változása lesz. Hiszen a háború nem csak a gazdaságot teszi rendbe, hanem a nemzetek közötti barátságokat, érdekeket és a gazdaság diktálta szükségszerűségeket is – megbonyolítva az e-világ néha különleges geográfiájával, szabályaival. Lehetséges, hogy mindkét nagy szövetség szétesik, érdekei és a gazdaság érdekeinek törésvonalai mentén; s a kicsi, de fejlődő országok, mint mi is, ebből profitálhatunk. Nem gazdaságilag – de a nemzetközi politika ösvényei kiszámíthatatlanok. A jövőt homály fedi, s ez így van jól. De a jelent kiszámítani, jól látni és értelmezni mindannyiunk kötelessége, hisz itt élünk, ebben a világban.

The first attack of the war, the frantic organizing and shouting, the doesn’t matter where, just fight somewhere, the where should I suddenly look they are coming from everywhere, all these things have slowly eased. We’ve gone over of the that was it feeling and the exasperation it caused, that the counties that the attackers picked were so easily taken in mere days, that the alliance such as it is, but still one, and it was all but done with. We have resigned to that France was over and out, and only that much will remain as the Atlantis grants them and if they leave any at all – and the quarter given has always a bitter taste. Even for us, not direct losers of the war.

But after the first, ferocious attacks, following the exasperation and acquiescence, the alliance suddenly came alive. First it was some smaller victory against the weaker members of the attacking countries, but the sudden retaliation was followed by a great leap against the eUSA who has ambition of being the greatest power in the game. And even now there is another revolution, a French one against the other great power, Sweden. The seemingly lifeless PEACE is coming over its initial problems and is now continuously sending fighting groups, armies, mercenaries, and even citizens with a will to fight, to the front, because all the member know that the fall of France could be the last straw in the increasingly fragile alliance. And one can like the French or hate them but has to grant them this much: defending their country, they are not less at all from any nation on the eWorld – the late ancestors of D’Artagnan can still handle a sword or any other weapon.

But what will come at the end of the war? Its goal is obvious; the enormous amount of goods produced so far have to be consumed and burned in the battles, the under-, or overvalued currencies have to be put into normal value, even if it is a drastic measure for some, and the warriors have to practice, spill blood and gain power. All these will come to pass as not only the game’s rules but real life’s rules also dictate. The only real question is the future of the alliances, the presently existing but not unchangeable two groups of countries which can and possibly will alter. After all war is not only puts the economy right, but it dictates new loyalties, new interests and necessities – complicated with this eWorld’s strange geography and specific rules. It is entirely possible, that both alliances fall apart by to the faults of economy or else; and I rather think that small, but developing countries like us can profit from this process. Not only economy-wise, but politically; international diplomacy has strange paths, and these paths vanish into the fog of the future. But we do have the obligation of watch and interpret the paths of the present times. We live in this world, after all.
