Guide to Fighting

Day 1,127, 10:42 Published in New Zealand Turkey by Manny Calavera

Sorry for the delay in this one, but I just got home from holiday. I looked on Wiki to see if there was already an instruction for fighting, but there isn’t one as of yet, so here we go, hopefully this will help.

Fighting is something that you can do if there is a battle that your country is involved in. However, I don’t suggest to fight more than 5 to 10 times a day when you first start as food is expensive and every time you click the fight button you lose 10 health. At least until you have a steady flow of gold coming in from a company, etc. When you come to the battle screen it will look something like this:

At the top of the screen you can see the blue and red bar. This is the battle dominance bar. When you click the fight button, depending on the weapon you use, and your strength you will do damage to your opponent. When you defeat an opponent, you add influence to the battle. When then influence is added to that bar, you can see the direction in which the battle is flowing. In the battle above, France has 63% and Canada 37% (to see this hover your mouse over the bar and it will show you the scores).

Underneath each country there are highlighted stars. In order to completely win the battle, your country, or country you are fighting for, has to win eight stars. This is accomplished by fighting and winning 8 battles. So the battle for Prince Edward Island will be won by the first country to win this fight 8 times. As you can see below, Romania has won it 4 times, while Hungary has also won 4 times.

Individuals with the highest influence in the battle are shown underneath the countries in which they are fighting for. In this case, Aarios has the highest influence for Romania, and Shandy has the highest influence for Hungary. If the battle ends and you have the highest influence in a fight, you will be the Battle Hero, and get yourself a Battle Hero Medal! Whenever you win a medal, you are given a Treasure Map which will earn you gold.

Above the fight button you can see your current rank and how many rank points you have. If you click here you can see the different ranks and how many rank points you need to achieve each one.

The options at the very bottom of the screen are health, health package, fight, and automatic defeat. You can click on the health button to use up health in your inventory. A health package will cost you 0.5 gold, and as of right now, you can use as many of these as you want to. Clicking on the fight button is obviously how you fight your opponent. Automatic defeat will cost you 1.0 gold, and unless you are trying to complete a mission, I don’t recommend this. You get more influence from fighting an opponent.

You can also select which weapon you want to use. Underneath your name, avatar, and strength levels there is a picture of whatever weapon you can use next. There is an icon there with two arrows. If you click on this it will cycle through your weapons. So if you have weapons that are lower quality and you wish to use those first, click on the arrow to cycle until you get to them and then click the fight button. Keep in mind what weapons you have and how many uses you will get out of each one. Fighting is expensive, and you can go through a lot of money trying to get a BH medal.

Finally, DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED! When you first start, it seems like everyone is stronger, but the longer you play, the more strength you get and then you can start doing some real damage. Thanks to WelshLad for helping me find the picture of the Southern Great Plains battle, I am grateful for the assistance!

Thanks for reading.
