Patton is coming back to an election near you
Greetings Ireland,
I humbly come before you, the Irish people to announce my candidacy for president of the Glorious Republic of Ireland. The craziness of recent events, along with the arrival of V2, has prompted me to jump out of my position as a normal citizen and rectify our national problems. My campaign will be focused on simple solutions to fix our current problems and to lead Ireland into a Brave New eWorld.
As you all know , my opponents are 5n4keyes and Orangejuicemmm. What I hate and love about this election is I think Ireland will win no matter who wins this election. While my pride might tell me Im the best, I know in my little eHeart that both of these guys could run this country and run it well.
In this time of political disunity we need to come together. Just a few short months ago Ireland had seemed to have eliminated partisanship and gotten down to pragmatism. We will return Ireland to this. To achieve our goal, the last few days I have tried to create a presence on every party's forum. I want to be there to answer everyone's questions and work together to create compromise and get things done.
Since we do have 5 days until the election I will save my more detailed plans for closer to the appointed day. I figure if I can inundate yall with Patton articles I have a better chance at the polls

FD - it took a break for a few months 🙂 Besides all the last month has been is change, bad change. I think Ireland could use a return to the past to center itself

Well I just hope for Ireland's sake the same old faces can actually do better then they have done in the past. Just returning to the past will only cause more decay.

Last time I check most people thought I did pretty good last time around. I cant help what presidents after me do but, like any person I made mistakes the first time around and hopefully I can correct them if I win this time
I support the idea of unity, but I am loathed to say that I am not sure that the same old faces are up to the job. I am in no way impugning your ability, Patton. I do think we need new blood in the political arena. I hope that you and your party will be open to such things. 🙂
