Guerilla Fight - playing chess vs Kasparov

Day 2,792, 14:45 Published in Ireland Egypt by PORTOFOLAS

Hello dear friends. Do you know what pisses me off? Many thing for sure, but Guerilla damage bonus in particular.

Bonus Damage is based on the ratio of victories and losses:
0 Bonus Damage: Win/loss ratio is less than 1;
1 Bonus Damage: Win/loss ratio is between 1-1.99;
2 Bonus Damage: Win/loss ratio is 2 or more.

Hey Tomislav why dont you like that damage bonus? Maybe because you suck in Guerilla Fight?

Yep, it is true that I had a very bad start with the Guerilla Fights. The problem is once you have bad Guerilla Fight win/lose ratio you have entered a path of no return.

How to explain my statement?

Well simply, if you have bad Guerilla W/L ratio you will have no bonus.
If you have good Guerilla W/L ratio you will have the advantage.
If two players play the Guerilla Fight with good equipment and if both players do no stupid moves then the one with bonus will have a better chance to win.

Player with no bonus damage can win about 50% of fights against players with no bonus damage. Player witn no bonus damage will lose more than 50% of fights fighting players with damage bonus.

Once you get bad W/L ratio (and more than few Guerilla Fights) you will have bad W/L ratio forever!

I dont see why should anyone have any bonus in Guerilla Fight!

Now what Garry Kasparov has to do with Guerilla Fights?

Well imagine that I play chess against Kasparov.

Kasparov is obviously much better chess player than me and he would crush me like a bug. Following erepublik "logic" it would be fair that we let Kasparov play as white since he is much better player than me and it would be fair if he has at least some kind of bonus (+1 damage) against me.

If we match old Garry agains some kindergartener chess noob it would be fair that kid has one less pawn in the start of the game (+2 bonus damage for Garry).
